I recently was thinking I would say maybe 2 weeks ago and I thought about it again today
Several years ago after I was fully 100% potty trained both day and night. Because of my medical problems when I was a young kid I had a hard time controlling my pee and I ended up wetting myself. Most of the time it was do to the medical reasons as yo why I wet myself. Some of me wetting myself was do to just pure laziness. I don’t remember if mom or dad said what are we going to do with you wetting yourself like this but what if I said put me back in diapers. Would they have really done it. Back then they had 2 choices disposable diapers or cloth diapers. They didn’t have pull-ups back then and I don’t believe they had the prints back then either. They might have had Huggies and Luvs back then I do know they did have Pampers.
My question is:
After you were fully 100% potty trained both day and night and you wet yourself. Did your mom and dad say you don’t wet yourself what are we doing to do with you. Did you say to your mom and dad put me back in diapers. Did they follow through and make you wear diapers again? Where you able to go pee pee and poop in the diaper or did you still have to run to the toilet and take off the diaper and then put back in the same diaper again or did they put a fresh diaper on you
Thankfully for me, I’ve only had trouble with my bladder after moving out. Chances are my parents would have taken me to a doctor if I had kept wetting myself back then, I doubt that they’d have the gumption to put me back into diapers.
I don’t think that mine would have put me in diapers. I had messy accidents at night when I was sick around the age of 5 or 6. It was typically farts that were more than farts that caused the accidents. The extent that my parents went to I think was putting a flattened garbage bag under the sheets to protect the mattress, but nothing beyond that.
I remember wetting myself after I was potty trained. We were going out to see my aunt and uncle and I had a problem in the bathroom and wet my new wool pants. My mom was so mad that she severely spanked me. There was no talk about diapers, just my red rear end. It turned out that I was extremely allergic to wool and I never could wear those damn pants without getting red welts on my skin.
I have IBS and OAB when I was about 12 I talk to my doctor about being able to wear diapers again. They took me straight to the urologist and put me on medicine. Most of the time if you ask to go back in diapers they’ll send you straight to the doctor and find an alternative. Unless you have complete incontinence in your pooping and peeing yourself continuously all the time.
When I was 5 I was really constipated, to the point where you start leaking poop. I was never put back into diapers or pullups. My parents just washed and dried clothes quickly.
