There 80 pack of diapers for overnight used to be $160 case now it $190 for some god reason. I’ll stick with ABU at least there not price gouging like tykables is now.
I don’t know, they did do a redisgn on the overnights if I remember right, and the ‘price increase’ might be fore the XL they are putting out. Or maybe the suppliers or shippers are demanding more money. Or maybe their overhead went up with having to have people work from home. We just don’t know yet.
The price increase does seems to be a result of their upgrade. $190 puts this version of the overnights in line with their other highest-capacity diapers, such as the puppers and little rawrz. Looking back using the Wayback Machine, the prices for the same diapers has stayed constant (using May 2019 for comparison).
Old Diapers were inferior to the new diapers. the cost increase seems justified. You could still buy the old Overnights at $160 up to a few weeks ago along side the new ones. All sold out now. The higher priced Improved ones are worth the extra cost, IMHO.

Also shipping costs are going up. Lack of freight worldwide with coronavirus is pushing costs up as well

Unfortunately prices will rise for a while as shipping costs increase, manufacturing costs have increased staffing costs have increased due to extra pay costs due to Virus working conditions (bounces for working in a pandemic)
Prices will level out and probably reduce again once everything is back up and running and competition helps reduce prices, but be prepared for it to take the rest of the year or maybe longer unfortunately.

Also may depend on where they’re manufacturing, could tariffs be involved now too? If there was a substantial redesign they may be using a different manufacturer. Just speculation though

This is a stupid post.
I was going to list all the reasons why this is a stupid post, but they’ve been stated above. Prices going up on a product like this is hardly price gouge. Price gouging really refers to essential products that people can’t get by without, and retailers who know this jack up prices for profit. Tykables, even though they aren’t a brand I prefer, is not doing this. They’re likely just trying to survive the pandemic.
I noticed the same thing, but I so love the capacities and the w, they get tighter all the way around, as they bulk up the wetter they get, and I love love the hook and loop as the night goes on for adjusting

I’d rather have a company raise their prices to reflect an increased cost of business, vs. having them make a lower quality product.
ABU went through a change about 2 years ago and rather than adjusting their prices, they simply made their diapers smaller to reduce their costs.

Last time i bought tykables, you could get 2 bags for 40 with free shipping. Ever since they went v3 they have been outrageous in price. But im still tempted to order some unicorns once i can get through these pride v1
I look at a lot of site who sell AB diapers prices are going up because of Convid-19 being everything made in china.
it’s the tariffs. China makes most oft our diapers and many ifs the kids brands have gone up. in any events North shore and Betters dry are cheaper.
Honestly, I think they’re worth the price. They fit me perfectly and perform very well. They say you get what you pay for, and with Tykables, the quality is sublime.
The cammies are the best fitting diaper I have ever worn. Worth the price imo.
I would go with subscription, much cheaper and it will be 80 diapers for either $150 or $160 depending on if you select basic or plus.
Tykables could cheapen their products to keep the prices the same but then everyone will complain about how bad their diapers have gotten and lose customers. I am sorry you are being priced out of your affordable range. That is why I recommend the subscription case. You will get random Play Dayz and Tykable diapers. 4 packs of Play Dayz and 4 packs of Tykables. At least they are keeping that price the same.
