I was wondering I’ll come they don’t abdl brand new in any stores I mean it would have been cool to see those Brands because I mean they’re great for incontinence I mean I rather have nose been in the store and then other brands
It’s because the Tykables store across the pond was a *roaring success …*NOT!!!
It can’t be helped by all of us, we are participating in a lifestyle that is …there’s no beating around any bushes …Adult!!!
The world is still that world that no one wants to go first!
Association and all that can be awful about it etc. etc. etc.
Shame really as I believe the autistic market really like non-medical products.
If the tables turn for the better it won’t be a quiet thing that draws no attention.
There will always be mis-understanders, haters and accusers …sorry but that the truth!!!
Print Diapers are a specialty product that is also heavily shunned by ‘normies’ .
Any normal stores that decide to carry them will have a very difficult time selling the diapers … and will most likely lose business because of it.
There’s a health care store in edmonton Alberta that carries abdl diapers, onesies, pacifiers, and stuff. The owner and staff are abdl aware and very friendly! ![]()
Very true, and probably true.
Those of us that embrace these “Silly” printed diapers are a minority, people with IC will more than likely choose a Plain White or Medical Style diaper, because they think a Print is silly and childish, and they are Adults and dont find IC Fun, so why should they wear a “Fun” Diaper?
Plus there is a heavy stigma towards printed Diapers, I remember the post about that Woman wearing a Bambino Diaper with a print on the Landing Zone at her Wedding, and that was enough for people to pop up and say “they cant possibly be IC because there is a Print on that Diaper”
I could at the very least see a better quality Plain White or Medical Style diaper selling well in stores though, it’s just a shame that most carry bottom tier garbage instead of functional Diapers.
Now that would be good. If stores carried halfway decent diapers. Even if just the white.
ABU sell a Simple version where it’s all plain white, that would be good I guess.
That’s what I don’t get. Why don’t CVS, Walgreens, grocery stores sell all white quality diapers? Depends are for small leaks and don’t count in my opinion. Guess they haven’t found a way to market them without the stigmatization.
because a normal person with incontinemce would rather pay $12 for 15-20 terrible diapers, instead of paying $35-$40 for 10 quality diapers.
I agree. If the ABDL community continues to grow, (and it will) some retailers will step up to the plate. Adult diapers are a multi-billion dollar industry.
I don’t know about any other country, but here in the U.S., manufacturers also (to a greater or lesser extent) pay for shelf space in stores (chain stores, that is). If no manufacturer of premium diapers pays for shelf space at Walgreens, Walgreens will not carry those diapers.
^that right there. P&G and Kimberly Clarke just have more money to throw at this than Northshore or ABU. Also from my understanding every company rents time on these machines to make diapers, we’ve seen these retailers be out of stock by just selling online, now imagine the massive upscaling they would have to do to bring these products to even a fraction of mom and pop stores or chain businesses nationwide. All you would get is cost cutting and lower quality products. Which is the exact situation that let this niche industry thrive in the first place.
I hear you, they can’t out bid the mega corporations. I wonder if head shops might? Some type of novelty store? There has to be a place for them in some sort of retail environment somewhere.
I’d be killing two birds with one stone if they sold abdl diapers in headshops…![]()

There are a few medical stores in Ottawa (Ontario) that carry abdl diapers.
Indiana, Midwest, USA has two established ABDL outlets. One is in Fort Wayne and the other one is in Noblesville. The owners at both places are super fun and very supportive. They are fun places to visit. Google finds both stores.
