Appreciate all you’ve done admin, but it’s a shame to shut the site down when maybe someone else will take it on? Can you the torch?
Moo updated this question around 1 am this morning. It’s in the administrative section and also up on the top of the site under update on potential buyers.
It is absolutely imperative that adisc gets passed down. What mayor burns down his town upon departure?
Why put this on a 2 week countdown?
This shutdown seriously needs to be put on hold until Moo finds a buyer. And seriously - as a last resort, it should just be given to a caretaker rather than razed to the ground.
Here’s a snipped from Moo’s profile:

Wealth and fame, he’s ignored. Helping people, is his reward.

How about we focus on the helping people just a little more and guarantee that the touch is passed one way or another. Starting with turning off the 2 week countdown unless that 2 week countdown ends in adisc being transfer to a new owner no-matter-what.
Unlikely we saw how the UK block was handled
While I like the “hey, let’s do this the right way” attitude, you’re really storming the castle there with that request lol.
When you sign up for a website, or browse the net, there’s no guarantee that it’ll be there tomorrow, for a number of reasons.
Companies, and individuals have the right to pull their sites for whatever reason, in a perfect world, sure it would be nice to have everything stay up.
At the end of the day, it’s @Moo 's decision on how they want to run ADISC, rain or shine, current events or uncontrollable circumstance, it is what it is.
For now, it’s best we all work together to either create an archive of ADISC, or forge a new community to take the helm.
Negative. We should focus our efforts on saving adisc.
Here’s one idea: https://www.adisc.org/forum/threads/lets-form-an-adisc-non-profit-to-run-the-site.202845/
I’m willing to donate 500 to the non profit acquisition of adisc. It wouldn’t really take that many members at that price to combine into a non for profit purchase of adisc.
@Moo has already stated that he’s not interested in dealing with a group of people pooling money together, and is looking for an individual proprietor.

I wish you the best of luck with your venture.
oh I see…
Locking this because I’ve already addressed this elsewhere, and am not a fan of duplicate threads.
