Why don’t adult diapers have stretchy sides?

So recently I got some Abena S2 because the M4 is too big! I had a thought, why don’t adult diapers have stretchy sides? It would make the fit more comfortable and easier! Cost maybe? Tell me your thoughts, which would you prefer? Stiff sides or stretchy?

Bottom Half Group ( Bambino ) … Ultra Stretch

Never tried them. I have had some stretchy sides before tho but on the ones I had the tapes were junk (Prevail Air)

Edit: OOF Bambinos are expensive! :skull_crossbones:

Tykables overnights (old version) has stretchy sides. They a printed diaper. FYI.

Yes they are … they are also the most absorbent adult diapers with stretchy sides .

CVS also had ( or still has ) stretchy side diapers that is about the best ‘generic’ with stretchy sides I have ever tried … they are not very good, but better than any other budget tab diapers with stretchy sides I have ever used .

Tena stretch? I think it mostly has to do with cost, as well as a high capacity adult diaper is going to sag pretty badly with stretchy sides. Its more cost effective and reliable to just have readjustable tabs.

I guess its to expensive for this.

Lot of people who need to wear diapers for

medical reasons can’t move around that easy so

Medical Diaper Companys might think its not needed?

not sure, just my idea.

I would love a printed AB Diaper with stretchy wings.

I could close my diaper so tight, would be wonderful
