I’ve been a DL since toddlerdom and it’s always been a dark secret of mine. I met my fiancé 4 years ago and this October will be 3 years dating and 1 year engaged. At the beginning of the relationship we dumped all our “deal breakers” ( things we thought the other would stop dating us for if they found out) and we accepted each others. In October of last year, my fiancé and I got to talking and she gave me the last little push I needed to go 24/7 with my diaper wearing. It’s been great! She participates periodically but she’s got to be in the mood and it usually leads to adult activities… so not for long.
Since last October I’ve exclusively used Northshore for all my diapers (because let’s be honest @NorthShoreAdam and his team are freaking amazing and they accept FSA) but when I lost my job in August I spent a little of my last paycheck on a 4 pack variety pack of different abdl diapers from ABUniverse and I love them (got the peekabus, Dino rawer, lil paws, and preschool cloth back (my least favorite of them all)). This has awaken the part of my that really wants more abdl diapers.
My question now is, there’s a lot of manufactures and brand and styles of diapers and I’m a little overwhelmed. What, in you opinion (I know this is different for each person which is why I’m
Asking) is the best abdl diaper you’ve used and swear by? Some specs I’m looking for but not required is plastic back, preferably tape but H&L is fine, 5000+ ml capacity, and cute (masculine vs feminine does not matter to me). Any and all help appreciated! Thanks everyone!
I’ve been looking into rearz. Being a Canadian company shipping is a bear but if looked into them. I really liked their Lil Squirts V2. I got a sample of them and loved them. As for landing zone, I prefer that because the diapers I’ve gotten without them pop really easily. Thank you.
As far as abdl diapers I would say for me it’s a toss up. I’ve still got quite a few diapers to try but I like both ABU Barebums and ABU Kiddos. Also I saw that you are from the east coast in your intro. I’m in the middle of the east coast myself
I e liked everything I have tried from abu and tykables. Not as big a fan of rearz. Also foresight has since deviated diapers. I liked their white ones when I tried then.
I recommend samples. Check out wearing clouds. It can be a bit pricey to pay per diaper but you can quickly narrow down your preferences and you only have to do it once.
Also it is nice to see so many of the brands all in one place for easy comparrison.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. However, so far most of my purchases have been from Tykables and ABU. I prefer hook and loop so tykables are ahead in that category. But I like the larger variety of ABU (14 vs 11 different types ranging from design and 2 or 4 tape diapers).
If you go for samples, ABU will also send a $5 coupon for every 2 samples you purchase. You can also look at wearing clouds like @WanderingToddler mentioned, but it could be the shipping that gets you on that site.
Don’t forget about Crinkle from NorthShore. Unbeatable price, and they’re already your go-to supplier. They used to be my daily until I gained weight and don’t fit in the mediums. The larges are much larger and fit funny.
I also highly recommend Tykables. They’re hook and loop, but the readjustability is great and they’re super high quality.
@EaglesFan300 thank you very much for the in-depth personal analysis of your experiences! Great input all around. Thanks everyone!
I get them often bout with no landing zone the tapes tend to pop often or stretch and become loose. They are great and I wear them often I was looking for new and different to expand on. Thank you for you input though.
