What kind of diaper lover media would you guys like to see?

I have recently come to realize my love for adult diaper wearing… I wasnt even aware it was a thing you could do mostly.. you never see it on TV or movies. So that got me thinking, maybe someday in a perfect world we can see a TV show or a movie with an ABDL main character or villain… It could be cool to have a show like Friends, with a group of friends, maybe where one person displays diaper lover traits, respectfully of course… Do you guys have any ideas for dream movies or TV shows about diaper lovers or with diaper lover characters? Maybe someday it will happen…

Somewhat related, but in the Off Topic forum there’s a sticky thread about ABDL stuff in popular culture.

Though I don’t know. This isn’t a widely known or accepted kink (really, are any of them?) It would be difficult to make a sitcom, such as Friends, with a character who’s into ABDL stuff, yet not have that be a joke that affects the rest of their presence on the show.

If anything, the most realistic portrayal would be someone who mentions it once and then it’s never mentioned again.

Or maybe it’s a one-off episode, where one co-worker catches one another buying/wearing some diapers, and asks them about it (though why would they?) and then they have a talk about personal lives and privacy and kinks, and neither of them never mention it again, and that’s the point of the episode.

I can’t see such shows being made. The audience size most likely wouldn’t be large enough for it to be profitable. The other down side is it would give a lot of people more fodder for ridicule of those of us who are DL and/or AB.

I know I can’t imagine such things being made either at least not for a long long time… But I just wonder what the perfect show would look like if it could be

The only thing I could think is just some kind of sitcom where one of the characters is a totally normal person but also abdl and you just notice random things in the background sometimes like a shipping box large enough to have a case of diapers, or maybe some plushies on their bed or clothing with a less obvious abdl reference (e.g. the “abu outfitters” t-shirt).

Not interested here. But enjoy when you find it!

… Ok.

I agree–if, as you say, it was done respectfully/tastefully. It would be a good positive message to have a character in popular media that was ABDL but also managed a “normal” existence, as most of us do. I don’t know if it would move the needle on the acceptance meter much, but it certainly couldn’t hurt.

If they do a AB/DL character, I hope the show is about the character and such and that the AB/DL stuff is only incidental to the story.

It used to be that anything dealing with wheelchairs, crutches, mental illness, BDSM, etc. was the main part of the show and I think this would be the wrong thing to do for AB/DL general acceptance.

The first show I remember watching that had a character like I am thinking of is the show *Ironside *where the chief inspector (Raymond Burr) was in a wheelchair. If he wasn’t in the wheelchair, the show would have been just as entertaining. That’s the way an AB/DL show should be.

But Hollywood doesn’t see it that way. Their charity towards the ‘abnormal’ is condescending.
