What is the best adhesive spray for making modified diapers?

I want to know what brand is best. And i also want to know what part of the diaper do i have to spray it in? like in the sides or the whole side of the baby diaper?or adult diaper?

I’d advise against spray adhesive, I’d go for contact adhesive, it’s a glue you brush on, you brush it on the inside of the baby diaper and the outer shell of the adult diaper, less messy and doesn’t make the diaper go hard and stiff like spray adhesive does. You can find the contact adhesive on amazon.

What brand do you recommend? Can you send me the link?

I’ve been using 3M 77 for many years now. It only takes a thin coat to get good adherence with plastics and the solvent off gasses quickly. It hasn’t caused me any skin contact issues but someone with particularly sensitive skin may have issues.

You can also use an iron set on lower settings to set the adhesive but only on the clothlike covers and topsheets. An iron set on it’s lowest setting will melt plastic film on contact. You also need to be careful where the adhesive hasn’t been sprayed and press firmly with a hand right behind the iron since hot melt is used in the manufacturing process. If you don’t press it could delaminate the layers and fall apart before you even get to put it on.

I think it really depends where you are, here in the uk, there’s evo-stik if your in the uk that would be the best brand id say, but anywhere else I wouldn’t really know other brands!

Spray && in the red can at home depot.

My contractor-friends and I call it “Spray 77”…it’s excellent! I swear, 3M can do no wrong…
