Just curious I have always wanted to wear at work and all day long. Just not sure what to choose to wear. Also not sure of how to deal with certain issues that may arise.
Ones that don’t leak

of course. I meant like what style pull on or tape diapers stuff like that.
I sy go with tape diaper they hold a lot more than pull-ups or pull-ons
I’m just nervous about doing it at work. What if something happens? Have you worn to work yourself?
Well what is your occupation? The problem I have wearing to work is that it can be distracting. Also think about how you would change yourself if you needed to. I have worn to work a few times but I prefer not to as I worry about the crinkle, smell, and the logistics of changing and disposal. My work doesn’t have private bathrooms and most days my office is pretty quiet so the crinkle is pretty noticeable.
I work in a research and development testing facility for diesel engines. We do have a private bathroom but the logistics of changing and being wet I just don’t know about it.
Definitely taped ones if you intend to or have to use them. Not only do they hold more without leaking, they contain the smell better (especially PE backed) and are easier to change 'cos you don’t need to remove your trousers. In my experience the private/disabled restroom is always in use by people who just want the privacy so don’t rely on having access when you need it.
Are you in the field? or do you work in a office type building?
Yes I can totally understand what you mean. I have never done this before. Wearing a rather thin one (like Tena Plus) would hardly be noticeable at all [under normal clothes] but then I’d certainly have to change a couple of times during the day- and I wouldn’t know how to dispose of the used ones, how to change in reasonable time etc.. Wearing a way thicker one would probably be even riskier as people could notice even more easily and that’s no real option for me- which just prevents me from doing (or trying) something like this, for years.
I have not really perfected that stand up change yet. Also I would have to bring a diaper bag to work. Not sure how to play that off either.
Me too the thought of it has always interested me very much. I wear in public but work is a bit different.
So I run one of the test cells. I run the engine’s and sometimes have to work on the in the cell. Most of the time I am sitting down though.
I always have a couple of spares and some scented disposal bags in my work backpack/laptop bag, but I don’t use any other products so those don’t take up much space. The scented disposal bags are for those occasions I can’t use the private restroom which has an incontinence pad disposal bin. If there are other people in the restroom I try to wait it out before leaving the stalls to dispose of the waste. I find standing to change results in a better fit. Might be worth practising.
I guess I could use a backpack of some sort. It takes me a lot longer to change standing up. I have had good luck pre taping mine and just pulling them on. Then I can adjust and be done. Could try that as well.
Be aware that the most likely thing that will happen if you use the diapers and have a mostly sitting down job is the crescent moon leaks. Dark trousers and a diaper brand you trust are lifesavers! I’ve tried many and highly recommend Tena Active Fit Maxi PE backed if you can get them. Even my mostly seated job is more active than I realised and others types have chafed terribly. They are also pretty discrete yet absorbent. But they aren’t the most absorbent which is why there are always two spares in my backpack.
I have looked at those but never ordered them. I tend to get the ones that have print on them. I have a bunch of rearz diapers in different types.
They are cheaper, and if anyone noticed anything (highly unlikely, but not impossible) I think no decent human would think anything other than a medical issue. Maybe worth trying as a safer way to get started. But definitely still enjoy the printed ones at home ![]()
Have you ever tried the m4’s?
I found M4s clump up very quickly, not just through wetting, but through no more than an average amount of activity. I think they’d still soak stuff up, but they get uncomfortable. I know they are a bit of a DL classic and I enjoy them, but I don’t use them for everyday activities.
