What are your favorite non-Disney animated movies?

Again, not entirely sure if this has been posted or not.

A few coming to mind for me are:

All Dreamworks Animation films (Except for Trolls and its sequel)

Secret Life of Pets 1 and 2

Sing

Rango

The Land Before Time

etc.

The secret of nimh, all dogs go to heaven 1 & 2, kiki’s delivery service, the list goes on…

Legend of the guardians: Guardians of Ga’hool, horton hears a who

‘The Brave Little Toaster’, ‘The Iron Giant’…though I’d have to say ‘The Prince of Egypt’ is my absolute favorite. I like Don Bluth’s early films: ‘The Secret of NIMH’, ‘All Dogs Go to Heaven’, ‘An American Tail’…he kinda went downhill after the '80s, though.

Cartoon Saloon’s ‘The Secret of Kells’ and ‘Song of the Sea’ are both gorgeous, though I haven’t seen their others yet. Richard Williams’ ‘The Thief and the Cobbler’ (the complete fan edit) is a masterpiece.

Going to add these:

Isle of Dogs

Ratatouille

The Wind Rises

The Castle of Cagliostro

Naussica of the Valley of the Wind

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Princess Mononoke

The King and the Mockingbird

The Adventures of Prince Achmed (with narration)

The Little Island

The Fantastic Mr. Fox

American Pop

WALL-E

Definitely agree with Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut, Watership Down, Spirited Away, Ghost in the Shell, The Iron Giant, The Secret of NIMH, Rango, and The Prince of Egypt - though from experience, just about anything by Williams, Bird, or Miyazaki are bound to be excellent.

Ratatouille is actually a Disney movie, same with WALL-E. However, both are from Pixar.

One of my favorite animated films that isn’t Disney is My Neighbor Totoro (Though Disney technically had the rights to it at one point)

Klaus is pretty good.

The Prince of Egypt has aged like fine wine, however.

Excluding Anime:

Watership Down

The Last Unicorn

Transformers movie

Starchaser: Legend of Orin

miyazaki films

The first two Shrek movies

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

Madgascar 1 & 2

The Polar Express

The first Spongebob movie

The first two Ice Age movies

The Brave Little Toaster

Robots

Spirited Away

Ponyo

Happy Feet

Persepolis

Open Season

Coraline

Paranorman

Charlotte’s Web (the 1973 film obviously)

Looney Tunes: Back In Action (not sure if live-action/animated hybrids counts, but it’s one to me)

ParaNorman

Coraline
