What are abdl training pants?

So, whilst scrolling through amazon I happened apon some “rearz safari training pants” and I dont actually know what they are… are they underwear that you put absorbent pads in, or are they more of a cloth diaper? I’m just very confused..

“Training pants” are multi-layered brief style underwear; they will absorb a little or some wetting, but a waterproof cover must be used to keep the wet inside. Several different companies make them and I suspect they are somewhat similar is style and absorbancy. I am a bed wetter and this is what I use at night (2 or 3 pair for better absorbancy). My “training pants” are from Baby-pants and Kins and a couple of other sellers on eBay. They work well for me, I think they are very comfortable, and I like not needing to use pins or other fasteners on regular cloth diapers. Hope this helps.

Thick underwear.

The toddler training pants are for toddlers being potty train and are used when the child can mostly use the toilet but may have a small accident.

The Rearz are just sized for an adult.

If you do plan to use them, they need a plastic pant over the training pants as the training pant is just cloth.

I wear (but do not use) training pants more than I use diapers, although I use the ones from Baby-Pants instead of Rearz.

Go to eBay and look up item:

eBay item number: 184037935692

or Search rearz safari training pants

These training pants feature 4 layers of absorbent material - note the layers are sewn in and could be augmented with

liners or additional padding.

They are not leak proof and for heavy wettings would require a plastic outer panty covering.

The Rearz training pants are very soft and comfy. They are fairly thick, but I have never wet them.

Yeah, just thick underwear. They can’t hold much at all and practically are really only good for leaks. However, they can be fun for potty training roleplay if you’re into that sort of thing…

You can get some training pants hat have cloth sewn into a waterproof outer cover - https://paddedpawz.com/dino-training-pants

Would training pants be a good fit for traveling, as an option for a trip for overnights as a just-in-case, or should one stick to their diaps? I got a trip planned and I don’t want to mess up hotel beds. (or let my friends know about this just yet.)

From what I’m hearing, I would just stick to the diaps. If your worried about them finding out, maybe you could stick to a thinner diaper, or pullups if they fit. But a crinkle or two and a dry bed is better at hiding it than a wet one. Best of luck though :3

Stick with nappies and if you are worried about leaks you can also buy some bed liners used for children (rather than babies) a lot of them now come with sticky pads to help hold them in place.

You could check out Threaded Armor (Super Undies). They would be better than Rearz Training pants for what you are looking for.

About that Hotel trip - if your diapered gear moisture proof panty (cover) and diapers is not enough to stem the leakage -

consider taking along a plastic mat liner to put on the hotel bed to prevent leaks that may cost you a service charge on

the hotel bill. This or if you have the gumption to request help from hotel housekeeping to find another solution.

Big Tots offers quite a few styles of training pants too. Thats where mine come from.

Why do they even exist? Are you trying to toilet train?

I thought they were pull ups so you can wear them like normal underwear but if u do have an accident it hopefully contains it

Training pants are - well think along the lines of being reusable laundry cloth diapers although they may not have

the full absorbency of the pull-up and may require a plastic panty diaper cover to prevent leaks.

Fit and feel just like your basic cotton underwear although a tad thicker but smooth in fitting unlike the waffle

weave structure of the pull-on vpl not withstanding.

I wore cloth training pants pretty much all thru high school. I had 2 different kinds, one kind was a snap-on and looked like briefs with a pad in them. The others were pull-on ones which were very thick all around. Both kinds I had to wear with plastic pants and change them half-way thru the day to prevent a leak/flood. I tried wearing them overnight a few times, but more times than not I ended up with a wet bed in the morning.

I wear training underwear (from many different suppliers, Tiger, Baby-kins, etc). They are thick underwear and do great with my minor wetting about 1 - 4 x per year. I wear PULs over them and 99% of the time they work great at night and give me the security I like just when I was a young boy. For heavy wetting, a highly absorbent diaper is needed (like flying overseas).

Cloth training pants were originally made for young children who were potty training and transitioning from cloth diapers to cloth training pants. They typically would yell to their mom, I got to go potty and then they could run to the bathroom, taking down their pants and training pants and hopefully make it to the bathroom in time to use the toilet. Ah…good times.

Anyway, adult baby training pants exist to replicate that feeling. I wear BabyPants “Almost a Big Kid” cloth training pants as my everyday underwear. I almost never wet them; just wear them as underwear, but at the end of the day, I’m always diapered.

Think thick underwear that feels like a diaper, is very breathable, and can be washed but has none of the absorbency.

I like them honestly. It’s very hot where I live for plastic diapers, and sometimes I just want to feel like I’m wearing a diaper but not use it. These are a happy medium.
