Does anybody else when walking through a grocery store or Walmart or other department stores walk through the baby area just to glance at different outfits or for smells.
I can’t help but think I might look creepy but I right that off as being paranoid.
I really like the smells so much
And enjoy imagining I could wear some of the outfits
I LOVE the baby aisle! It’s my favorite tbh. I love looking at the cute clothes and wondering if I can make one in my size. I also like getting my skincare products from the baby aisle because I have sensitive skin. Oh also I love buying baby blankets. I have tons lol. So yeah you aren’t the only one
I love closing my eyes for a second and smell the oils and lotions. I often use JJ baby shampoo because I can wash my eyes but really it’s because I love the smell
It’s honestly the best scent from JJ in my opinion. It’s just sooooo soothing :smiling_face_with_3_hearts::smiling_face_with_3_hearts::smiling_face_with_3_hearts:
Diaper Connoisseur supposedly can add “pampers scent” they call it to their diapers. I’ve seen that option on amazon. I’d choose it if my skin wasn’t so sensitive and my hubby didn’t have such a sensitive nose. Well it doesn’t help that I’m broke right now too lol. But yeah idk how their “pampers” scent is, but if it’s good I might try and get them lol
Let’s hope she doesn’t kick you out . Yeah my hubs is still iffy with my wearing. Sometimes he makes me feel little, other times he ignores me. He’s so depressed though…he can’t help it…it still sucks though
I haven’t worn ( with her knowing) for about 6 months I am currently trying for much smaller things for her to accept. It’s kinda driving me a little crazy. I don’t want to say depressed but not really right.
Especially when I’m with my friend or out myself, I go right to the baby section now to look at toys. I look at baby dresses too. it’s not fair I can’t wear them [giggle,] but if I see a toy I want to play with, I buy it.
I always love to just walk through there, even if I’m not going to buy anything. I just love the sensory overload of the smells and the bright colors. Lol.
I’ve been going down the baby isle, ever since I could walk, even before that. I can remember telling my mom, that I was going to look at the toys, while she looked at whatever moms looked at in the Woolworth store. I would then, head right for the baby isle, to look at the plastic pants especially. No matter where we went, I would be sure to spilt off, to go to the baby department, and get my fix/kicks. I never got over, taking an opportunity to go into the baby department, or the baby isle. I also can recall, sitting in the shopping cart, and loving the baby isle at the supermarket. When we got there, I’d look up and see, all the Gerber baby pants, that hung overhead. Plastic pull-on pants, snap-ons, terry lined training pants, thick cloth training pants, and the cloth diapers below. No disposables back then.
These days, I still do make a special trip down the baby isle, but it’s not like it once was.
There is nothing better than looking touching feeling the soft little smoothie blankets. The ones with little animal heads with the soft velvety blankie flowing. I have anveldphant and a puppy. I live them. I also like checking out different bottle nipples checking g for a larger or breast like teat. It may look a little creepy for a guy but we ladies get away with it quite easily. Many younger people ask my opinion – they just assume I am shopping for a grandchild.
I love going through baby sections! I don’t think anyone will really think it’s creepy (well…unless you go around sticking your face into blankets or clothes). I love the smell of one particular brand of baby lotion, and I use that as a body lotion (it’s very gentle and doesn’t feel so sticky afterwards). Tried using their shampoo, my hair didn’t like that so much, but their body wash works nicely. If anyone is wondering, the brand is hipp, a German baby product line (they mostly make baby food, I think?)
It’s also so so much fun to look at the clothes! I sew, so sometimes I can go there to get my inspirations And the blankets are divine!
