I been trying to find ways of safe online dating as an ABDL as well as find safe ways of just making friends in the community.
I’m someone that keeps my private life, work life, and general public life separated. I have a small group of normie friends that know about my ABDL and furry interests. They have encouraged me to find ways to make more friends and even date women that may accept this aspect of me.
As far as dating, I have tried using apps like Hinge and OKcupid for dating but I can’t afford it currently. I’m very hard strapped for cash due to my unemployment from most the year. (I have been working on gaining employment so no worries) As far as just meeting people, I have tried looking at Fetlife, but it has been difficult for me to feel comfortable with the site and find munches close to me.
So, I was trying to think of solutions to my problem, and I noticed that ALOT of people use Instagram for meeting and even dating. Would it be possible to have a private ABDL account were I can share my interests for ABDL and express who I am without giving too much personal information??? I almost think of it as a pen-name that authors and artist use, which I also have, but it would be for interacting in the ABDL community. I want to be able to be transparent and honest with who I am with others online without exposing me in my baby crib to the general public.
If anyone has any practical and helpful thoughts on this idea, please lend me your advice on this. I would greatly appreciate it.
I have one just for ABDL/Diapers, great way to separate my social life from what I do in my free time alone at home. As for the dating aspect… that’s a tough subject. Any female you see on instagram involved with ABDL is a male until proven otherwise. There are a lot of males who try and fake themselves as a female. They blow their cover by posting images to their account that have been in the community for years. To be honest, I don’t really trust trying to meet people on instagram. It’s not that I don’t necessarily trust them, just seems like a waste of time for me. You have to find someone in your area and that can be a struggle in itself sometimes. Also most people on instagram who would be perfect candidates already have a mommy, daddy, little etc.
When it’s all said and done, the dating aspect seems like a shot in the dark. But hey, you do you and don’t let this post discourage you! See for yourself to form your own opinion. I recommend at least trying it out once.
You make some great points DiaperedMoo. I even came across the thought that there may possibly be scammers as well.
Maybe having a private ABDL Skype account could solve this?? It could help weed out scammers. I thought mentioning to the user that I would like to have a video chat date after breaking the ice on instagram to see if they say who they really are and maybe just wearing a simple half facemask to avoid too much identity exposure. But not even sure if that would work, practically speaking.
I would just go with instagram, there is more of a platform to interact with. Skype seems like it would be causing more harm than good. There’s little profile material and you would have to be giving out your skype username to whoever. Doesn’t seem socially friendly unless you already know the person lol.
