Using a Manual Wheelchair As A Substitute For An Adult Stroller, Pushchair, Buggy?

Any thoughts on using a Manual Wheelchair as a substitute for an Adult Stroller, Pushchair, Buggy?

Obviously manual Wheelchair could be pushed by a caregiver like a stroller, with straps present for restraint etc.

Only thing I would To the Wheelchair are more straps to prevent myself being able to propell/push the Wheelchair therefore direction of travel completely guided as the caregiver as preferred.

I feel like using a wheelchair and making it obvious that it’s for kink/fetish reasons…won’t go over very well..especially in public.

I use a wheelchair in public without the AB thing, just how life ended up. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I mean if you want to you totally can. Just straps in place isn’t that crazy of an idea so most people won’t even bat an eye. Aside from the initial curious glances people usually give the disabled.

But really… Who cares?

Sometimes in the evenings my best friend (who likes to petplay as a horse) and I go out to a local park to play Pokemon Go. We have this rig set up where he attaches a harness to himself and my wheelchair and he pulls me around while we play Pokemon Go. We get a lot of weird looks but whenever anyone asks we just say he’s doing endurance training. He’s not in any pony play gear or anything so it’s not like super obviously fetishised or anything.

All wheelchairs come with 2-point seatbelts now…

(I removed mine (along with 10 pounds of other ‘accessories’) to save weight. Don’t tell the Feds!)

Some wheelchairs can’t be self propelled, in certain configurations, anyway. All you need is the back wheels not to be big enough to reach. No extra straps required.

:ROFLMAO:At at least. Some come with a 4 point seatbelt, just for the lap, plus a 4 point shoulder harness, or butterfly harness. Good lord at the straps! I forgot shoulder retractors. Your back will not leave the wheelchair back, with those on. It’s an alternative to a harness.

Honestly that does sound like a really good workout. I’d actually like to do that with my husband (since I also am into horse pet-play) but alas I have neither the money nor the horsepower (I’m laughing too hard at my own joke) to pull my hubby around.

The extra restraints for my hands would be kept discrete, to avoid attention from passers-by. Anyone can need to use a wheelchair at some point in their lives even temporarily if not disabled (broken legs, pelvis etc following an accident) so to me the wheelchair would create less attention with the general public than a stroller for disabled adults which although more robust and capable of carrying greater weight for all intents and purpose still have the general appearance of a baby stroller, pushchair, buggy.

The wheelchair would also enable implementation of my other ABDL fantasies at the same time, obviously I could easily be in a nappy while in the wheelchair without drawing any attention, also I have mentioned in other posts my desire for a female caregiver who is a smoker as I appear to have a smoking fetish (aroused by the sight and associated smell of the female caregiver smoking a cigarette during ABDL roleplay only for some reason) hence I could be taken in a wheelchair to say a public park by the caregiver who could smoke a cigarette freely if and when she wished again no aspects of which are likely to draw public attention yet fulfill the majority of my ABDL fantasies at the same time with the exception of my desire to be spoon fed a meal as I’m adult someone spoon feeding me dinner, yoghurt etc would undoubtedly draw attention from passers-by and so not feasible. Obviously nappy changes would not be feasible either while out & about so would have to be postponed but this aspect is not all negative for me either as being told by the caregiver when my nappy would be changed as opposed to at me request also creates appeal. - i.e. Having soiled a nappy in the park but forced to wait until return home to be changed by the caregiver.. If I could find a willing female ABDL caregiver, who smokes cigarettes and a manual wheelchair all my ABDL fantasies would be finally fulfilled. Unlikely to happen though :frowning: One can dream I guess,…

Actually my friend says it’s not too hard and is easier than pushing from behind the chair. We use a window washer harness and some cheap dollar store rope to attach it. The window washer harness may be a little bit pricy though..

Well, the thing is I’m 5’5” (a total wuss) and like 157lbs. He’s 6’6” and 250lbs. But hey honestly it might be easier than I’m expecting. I really haven’t tried it yet

Well yeah, if it isn’t obviously kinked out then go ham fam! But yeah honestly, I’d love a freaking stroller, but they’re expensive and I don’t want to be judged. Also we don’t leave the house much lol so that doesn’t help.

See what I mean about the small back wheels?

It’s kind of strange because with my cerebral palsy, I use a wheelchair to get around. It’s not my stroller, and if I had my way, I would have a real stroller besides the wheelchair if I could fit in one. But I do see your point, and if it works as a stroller for you, great.

You can actually get chairs that look more like adult strollers but they are usually used for people with special needs. Whilst i don’t use a whelchair yet (although if my surgery goes pear shaped i may have to), I did push my wife around in one until she got an electric one provided. As to being restrained and having your hand’s restrained i think that would be pushing (sorry) things a bit too far. Our community gets enough bad press as it is, I think something like that might just add to it.

This sounds pretty fun except for the smoking part. I wouldn’t want to mess up my lungs just for roleplay

as far as using a wheelchair as a stroller its perfectly possible to do so honestly. its wheeled, it has a seat and isn’t that what a stroller is meant for. Their are kids and adults who can walk but not as all the time and need assistance, thats how so many scooters, etc exist.

I can’t speak on extra restraints but going on in some of the posts but i do know ez on vests offers something like that car for cars for escape artist kids/adults . its on page 6 of 8 on their catalog. Both the arm(100WRP) and foot ones(100AR) come to mind, id never want to get in one of these even normal but its there if your into the concept, its meant for kids with severe behavioral problems, your not going to see publicity photos for this on the main site, these are known to those who need their services. Hint: this is not a ab/dl/etc aware company so you’ll need a believable reason to even order them i would think as they qualify as restraints and may need additional paperwork too.
