As I’ve posted before I have been searching for a very absorbent diaper that will hold up to a night out drinking beer. We all know how much it makes you pee. So I decided to try the MM and just got a case. Was pleasantly surprised at how they fit and how they really swelled up the first night I tried them. So now last night. I had went out and partied and drank quite a few beers. Put one on for the night and went to bed. I normally wet 4 to 5 times, well last night I don’t even remember how many times I wet. All I know is I woke up this morning and the MM had swelled a huge amount. It actually felt pretty good being so fat. There was a slight damp spot on the bed but not too bad so guess it was at capacity. I wish I had a scale to see how much it weighed as it was super heavy. So guess I’m hooked.
If you’re looking for a diaper that swells a lot and hold just as much (if not more) the Better Dry/Crinklez line would do you well.
I’ve tried the Better Dry. I really liked how they really wick the moisture so that it covers the whole diaper. A feature that is hard to find in most diapers. The problem with that is it wicks so well that they get full and start leaking around the edges. Maybe I just wet too much at night.
Follow up. Well I’ve worn a MM to bed for 3 nights now and really love them. I love the fit as they seem to be cut a little larger than most of the other Mediums I’ve worn. As I mentioned before they seem to be on thin side to start but they swell like crazy. Woke up yesterday and today with a HUGE bulge and loved it. Also, super impressed with the tapes and the shiny landing zone. Once stuck they are super hard to pull back apart. These sure aren’t coming off by accident. So far I love them just wish they weren’t so pricey. Good luck with them.

These are maybe my all time favorite diaper. The fit is wonderful and they don’t loosen up on you. I have worn them many times hiking and under my waders fishing. The Dry 24/7 is close but maybe not quite as good as MegaMax.

It’s weird to see capacity ratings in Ounces when everyone else is using mL. 49 oz is 1,450mL right? So many premium diapers are rating their capacity up over 4,000mL though. (which seems like total fantasy, from a usable capacity standpoint anyway)
I assume you’re using Oz since customers shouldn’t be trying to compare real numbers with fantasy numbers?
We use ounces because it is more relatable to our USA market. Our absorbency numbers posted on our website, example, 49 oz. are based on more real-life simulations of “absorbency before leakage” testing.
Most other brands that quote capacity in mL are either (1) using ISO Rothwell dunk and drip total capacity test that specifically states it should never be used for marketing to consumers or (2) are using a random pour test that is not standardized or reproduceable and without a way to accurately determine when capacity has been reached.
I change when the diaper feels uncomfortable. That is usually near the saturation point and leaks.
A personal use test would be to weigh a dry diaper and again when you remove it and see what the capacity you are comfortable with.
It’s not difficult to Google “oz to ml conversion” (unless you’re missing appendages and a brain).

Yes they run big, I wear a large except the MegaMax I wear a medium, I wear waist size 36 jeans and Northshore is good about sending samples out contact them
MegaMax are the best things EVER!!! I filled one last night with 5 voids and it never leaked a drop. I wear large at night and during the day on the weekends when I’m out and about. Mine this morning weighed 3lbs. 7oz.! These are the best you can buy.

I just recently purchased a second case a few days ago, specifically the medium white ones, after using large & blue last time. I want to see if their medium size is just about the same as ABU’s PeekABU large, since I had some good swelling results with them, especially when paired with some pretty great boosters as well.
If you really want to see the most amount of swell with your Megamax, get a Bambino Quadro Deluxe booster sample and put one right in the front or mid / center; trust me, it’s worth it!
I only pee in imperial standards of ounces, quarts and gallons.
