I’ve noticed that tumblr seems to be a really hard place to share images with others since tags deemed NSFW don’t work making it impossible to find others and for other users to find you outside of a lucky Google search or a repost. Im trying to do 2 things, 1 find out if there is a better site that is similar to tumbr with less of a restriction on NFWF content. And 2 to create a thread where people can share their tumblr accounts. I know after I created my blog a week or so ago I’ve gotten only one follower which is kinda sad since I’m hoping to use tumblr to meet other littles and share some pictures.
I’m not looking to do nudity so I should be fine there I’ll look into Twitter and Instagram. Instagram is probably what I’ll go with though I’m slightly concerned with how tied together all instagram is with everything that people could find my page through my non kink social media…
I’m pretty much solely on Tumblr, FWIW, and it’s actually been pretty good. I do mostly captions, and while back in 2019 I had more issues with spurious flagged posts, lately the Tumblr gods have been pretty lenient.
I do stick within Tumblr guidelines now by not posting any images of genitalia or “female-presenting nipples,” so as long as you don’t try posting seriously NSFW stuff I still think you’ll enjoy Tumblr. (And to be honest, I see plenty of nudity and genitalia on other blogs that slips through anyway!)
My blog is paddedlittleparadise, in case you’re interested.
P.S. Try experimenting with tags and watching to see what other Tumblr blogs use. For instance, from what I’ve seen #abdl, #bdsm, and #ddlg don’t work, but #ab/dl, #bd/sm, and #dd/lg do.
P.P.S. And if you’re still looking for alternatives, you might try Bdsmlr or Instagram. The former is too NSFW and explicit for my taste and the latter is too closely linked to Facebook for my comfort, but hey! The choice is yours.
I appreciate the replies! Thank you for the tips, ill try those # and see what happens. I am thinking of doing instagram but for the exact reason you mentioned i am a bit hesitant. im using a seperate email, denied access to contacts, etc but im still worried it will end up in someone i knows suggested people list. Ive read a few threads of people who took the same steps as me and they got found… ill stick to tumbler for now.
Yea, but it’s a mess. So many people, so many things to choose from, so many things… I have an account, but never use it. Made a few conversations, but never any follow ups. I don’t know how many accounts there are actually real.
