Today's the day!

I’ve recieved my first order of Tena proskin slip supers today and I’m going 24/7 as from now! I no longer have to constantly go to the toilet!

I’m surprised how descrete they were, not thick at all, not crinkly, I’m just hoping they are quite absorbant.

I’ll keep you posted but I’m super happy that i can get a normal life again.

Enjoy

Good to hear that you’re super happy and will have some relief!

Good luck! The super’s aren’t the most absorbent, so be prepared to change every 3h or so. Personally I would have gone for the maxi since these are also very discrete but can hold a bit more. (the thickest , the ultima’s are even more absorbant but these are less discrete when you wear tight clothing)

That suits me to change every 3 hours as I don’t want to smell due to being in a nappy for too long, I feel comfortable wearing these diapers and I am quite happy with them so far.

And yes I will have some relief in more ways than one! It was so annoying having to wait because I felt like i was in some kind of limbo!

I know the feeling, last year I could sit on the toilet for half an hour and still not be done. Every minute or 2 i got another urge. Only after my bladder felt like a dehydrated plum i felt confident enough to get up and leave o.o once I got home from work (an hour later) i was rushing again .

I’ve worn my first nappy, the performance was great, good tapes, great leakage protection and fairly good absorbency so far, so good.

Good for you, thats great to hear! It’s always nice when a new order arrives  I’m glad you’re happy.

Personally I use BetterDry with booster pads and whilst that makes them super thick, they’re still not very noticeable under jeans. But then again I don’t wear skinny jeans or jeggings…

I don’t wear skinny jeans or jeggings anymore, they are not comfortable as they feel like they are going to tear when I bend over and they chad my legs behind my knees. I just wear either a skirt/dress or a pair of regular style jeans.

I am very happy for you. I hope you enjoy wearing.

Happiness is a delivery of diapers!

Enjoy.

I like the new proskin super from Tena. I also wear them once in a while and actually I think the new super is like a maxi. They do take alot. I also like the high leg guards. The only thing I do not really like is that they start to loosen and start to sag. Also I would say I feel too dry in them, I like to feel more wet. Enjoy them!

I think the absorbency for the thinness of the diapers is amazing, you would only think on first balance that they would only hold one wetting.

First glance, I meant

Well, I’ve never worn them when having frequent small voidings, only when I had much larger volumes. This did cause the diaper to be saturated more quickly and leak.

Given the alternative (betterdry) i can get for less and i don’t have problems hiding the bulk, i never looked back.

But generally speaking most diapers can be used longer if one only has very small voidings because the material has more time to absorb it better

I’ve tried them over night and I’m still impressed over the leakage protection and the absorbancy, not a single drop escaped the diaper this morning.

Wow, if I did that my bed is soaked guaranteed :O.o: I had leaks with even the tena maxi and ultima at night because of a more narrow shaped pad on the rear.

Glad it works out for you though

I guess everybody’s body is different though

I’m glad it’s working out good for you. You will have more independence and be able to go places without worrying anymore. Youre life will be a whole lot less stressful. The Tenas are good diapers I tried those years ago when they were still plastic backed. Just always keep a small back pack with you with plenty diapers when going out or traveling:slight_smile:

It is working out well, I felt confident walking down the street wearing one under my jeans to go to my works office, they are so decreet and have quality leak guards, I’ve had my first 24 hours in these diapers and Ive been so much more at ease, comfortable and at rest, i feel like i can get on with my life now without stressing about toilets.

Oh I will bring diapers to work with me on days when I don’t get breaks, I travel from house to house to meet my clients (whom most of them ironically also wear incontience pants/pads but no diapers so far) (also a bit weird that a carer needs incontience diapers for me at least, but other than that I’m perfectly healthy but then again I’ve had my OAB all my life)

By the way, what do you bring in your diaper bag on a work day? I can change at home most days but on days when I’m forced to change when I’m out, I’ll change in the clients bathroom quickly and descretly, even forgoing the wipes if needed! I would prefer it if I changed in the sheltered accomadation toilets rather than the clients actual bathroom since it has more room and it’s more private. (Plus nappy bins!)

I still use the toilet every now and again if my diaper is full and I’ve waited too long until I need to one again and I’ve not changed yet (providing I can!) and before showers and before bed/going out since I don’t mind too much using the toilet if I can avoid peeing in the shower (or worse peeing in a fresh diaper as soon as I put it on!) or avoid peeing in a fresh diaper as soon as I step outside to go to work!

At least though, I would no longer have to be dehydrated or limiting fluids now just because I need to pee a lot, I can just let go and change later, the only thing is now, I’m a little conscious of smells, generally I can smell if I need changing or if I’m dehydrated or something.
