The feel of a plastic backed diaper.

I love the feeling of a nice soft and smooth plastic backed diaper to of course wear and to touch. Before I put one on, I like to touch and rub it on my skin (not sexual). I just can’t resist the gentle soft smoothness of the plastic backing. Anyone else have this feeling with plastic backed diapers? Just curious.

I’d say most people on here have a preference for plastic-backed disposables over cloth-backed. Cloth-backed are a relatively new invention. Most people have grown up with plastic-backed, which I think explains the attraction. I do love the feeling also; again, I think most of us love the feel of it against the skin.

I grew up with plastic backed disposable diapers so naturally I prefer them over cloth backed diapers. My nephew is 24 years old and he grew up with cloth backed disposable diapers but when he got into being an ABDL at age 17, he wore plastic backed disposable diapers for the first time and he likes them better than cloth backed. I think the feel of the plastic backing is better than cloth backed and even some of the younger people prefer plastic backed disposable diapers over cloth backed for this reason.

I believe I was brought up with cloth pinned on diapers as was my next 2 brothers down from me but when my 2 sisters were born 10 years after me I remember them in pampers and I didn’t get back into diapers until my 40s and not for fun but after wearing them for a couple of months at night that’s all it took before I’m addicted to them and of course they have to be plastic back

From a solely functionality standpoint, plastic backed diapers are far more comfortable, especially if you have worn them as a baby and/or plastic pants with cloth diapers as it was likely an easier transition.

The interest in cloth backed (spun plastic) disposable diapers is likely an extension from the diapers that was worn as a baby. That likely also explains the term confusion commonly seen with AB/DL’s love for 'pull-up’s diapers with their cute baby prints. What they are in fact stating that they love ‘baby’ style pull-ups, not Adult style pull-ups!

Plastic backed is my preferred choice and i like the variation of the plastic used in each brand they can feel so diffrent, texture, noise etc, atm im loving the feel of the kiddo night owl so smooth. Cloth backed for when i want to be :ninja: around others.

I do find the feel of the plastic to any other materials to give me the comfort and smoothness that relaxes me the best :ok_hand:

I’ve always loved plastic backed nappies. I can remember stroking and humping them as early as 6 years old at night before bed so it’s ingrained in me, plus I still wet the bed so naturally I continue in the same way. :grinning:

Yeah. I think I do the hand-confirmation rub non-sexually one-thousand F-ing times a day. That makes it…(I’m kidding)

But It could be at least 20K times a year. :innocent: :face_with_hand_over_mouth: They just feel so soft, and perfect. Nothing compares at all. I even know what brand is THE softest. :ROFLMAO:

So, actually, I’m great with my hands, tactile-wise. (tee-hee). But yeah. it helps in the dark, too ! (Finding things, dummies!)

If they made a diaper with a tree bark outer shell, I think I’d have problems.

I love the feeling of a nice thick plastic backed diaper! I also love how some brands have different plastics for each different print. Rearz uses different plastics for most of their diapers. It gives each diaper a unique feel!

The bulk is enough for me.

“I got plastic, I got cloth, what chu want”

Both, Lil Tecca!

Plastic backed is so nice and noisy…

But cloth backed feels so snuggly…

So, I’m undecided.

It is probably my favourite thing about diapers!

Unfortunately a lot of the current diaper brands don’t use smooth plastic (Rearz, for example). There are only a handful of products out there with really smooth plastic.

Even i do feel this way, and i never thought about diapers until i got incontinent.

For the summer i do prefer cloth backed though.

Luvs Diapers mentions plastic backing it in their FAQ from 2002…and sums up it up prey good.

Me too. Plastic backed disposable diapers are the only type of disposable diapers that I buy. I enjoy the feeling of the soft and smoothness of the plastic that touches my inner thighs especially when I am walking or moving around when my inner thighs rub on the plastic backing of my diaper. It’s the best feeling ever when wearing my diapers.

The feeling of the diaper is very important to me and plastic backed diapers are the only diapers that feel nice and comfortable for me. The soft and smoothness of the plastic that touches my inner thighs is the best feeling when wearing my diaper. When I’m wearing my plastic backed diapers, I feel very relaxed and they are very comfortable. I sleep very comfortably while wearing plastic backed diapers.

I’ve always preferred plastic backed diapers. I’ve generally only worn cloth backed diapers in public in the past for discretion, but I currently only wear plastic.

If you haven’t tried them yet, Critter Caboose has plastic that is soft and smooth. Safari, Alpaca, and Princess Pink have plastic with a bit of a texture to it.
