I’ve noticed some threads here and there with posts in them by people with usernames who are listed as ‘‘guests.’’ I’m simply curious as to how these people post, as I thought only members could. It’s a change in their status after the post. I think it’s in some (but not necessarily all) cases of closed accounts.
Those accounts were hard-banned.
My reasons are specific where Moo wanted no contact with users at all or they were taken out for security reasons perhaps?
It is possible that many of the threads you see are from when ADISC was 13+, when it became 18+ those who were then too young had their accounts deactivated and could possibly show as “guests”. IIRC, the change happened sometime in mid-late 2012.
It’s a hard-delete, meaning all information on the account was deleted. I can’t recall why some accounts are/were hard-deleted, though.
It means the account was deleted.
This can happen for various reasons, but it is rare.
