Does anyone here notice any relief of lower back pain while sitting in a diaper all day? I have a bit of scoliosis and sitting for 6-7hours all day for college classes over Zoom is not fun. I already use a cushion but I’m wondering if strapping on a Megamax tomorrow would help in any way.
I have been in a similar situation in college. I have lower back problems also. I wore Aww So Cute or MegaMax to class. The soft padding of the diaper was definitely better than the hard seats. I especially appreciated the extra padding and absorbance during midterms and finals when we were not allowed to leave until the last exam was turned in.
So you were able to notice a relief in your lower back pain by wearing a diaper?
I have found diapers make it more uncomfortable while sitting. i keep needing to get up and move regardless of which brand I wear. Confidry are probably one of the bettter ones I have tried, but even still… My answer was a memory foam seat coushin is the biggest improvement. I bring it everywhere at work.
I can see that as well. the one good thing about Zoom classes is we get 5 min breaks every hour/hour and a half. So if I need to just turn the camera and mic off and take off the diaper, I have times where I can do that and no one will notice.
If you find the memory foam tends to soften and distort after a year or two of use, you can get natural latex cushions for about $50 or so. They should have greater longevity than memory foam.
What is stopping you from getting up and moving while on zoom
Because it’s my understanding that my profs want to be able to see my face as much as possible while they are teaching. Which means sitting quietly (or trying to at least) as much as I can to not be a distraction to them or my classmates. Let’s say I get up and move for 15min in addition to our 15min breaks we get in class. (Sometimes broken up in 5min blocks) That’s 30min of 180min of class time that a prof can’t see my face. That is gonna get sucspicious. In these situations anybody rightfully can say “moving helps, cushions help, an extra layer of padding helps” and thats true. But unfortunately the best help is not sitting for 6-7hrs straight.
I’ve always found that wearing tends to aggravate my back, thigh muscles, and feet. Its not like anything crazy or everytime either, but it is more noticeable if i spend more time padded.
Yes
I never tried this lol. I did some core exercises and it helped my pain
