Shower or wet wipes or rag?

How does anyone here deal with body pee smell..it’s really a personal thing, but I am trying my hardest to clean myself and sometimes still smell pee on me.

just a shower generally does it for me when needed

it might be a mind over matter thing , because you think you smell all you can smell is pee , but in reality you don’t..?

Keeping the pubic area shaved makes it much easier to clean up when changing a diaper. Hair absorbs and traps odour. Being shaved allows wet wipes to work much better at removing odour.

Also staying properly hydrated dilutes the pee to be less pungent.

I keep my diaper area VERY clean … I use NorthShore Supreme adult wipes during changes.

I use diapers 24 / 7 ( not by choice ), and I do not have an odor issue.

I only have to wear at night, and if I need to change myself in the morning I always wipe my covered area (and any place else in the event of leaks) and take a shower a little later in the morning

I use wet wipes, so I usually smell like those rather than pee  Having a smooth and clean crotch helps sooo much! Shaving is the worst, so I wax down there

That’s the same order of operations that I try to maintain, it seems to be more effective than the other way around. I don’t shave my diaper region, but I do wash it thoroughly at a minimum of once daily and I stay hydrated as was mentioned in a previous posts to reduce the strength of the urine smell. Sadie hasn’t seemed to be offended by any odors emanating from me…but then she’s a dog that sleeps with her nose next to her ass so she’s probably not a great of an olfactory witness. Stay padded, that way you can always blame the smell on the diaper.

Recently took the plunge and shaved all hair off from down there had been hesitant to do it but I too was getting fed up of smelling like a urinal even after showering and scrubbing. Must say much improved I can use wipes and not smell anymore, think it’s just a case of keeping it shaved to prevent itching

Shaving definitely helps. I use wipes during changes and shower daily. Only time I smell is in the morning. 10 plus hours usually in a wet and sometimes messy diaper will do that.

I’m shaven (not cleanly at the moment) and I showered yesterday, wore last night, used Assurance wipes to clean up, and she had her head on my lap and didn’t say anything. I did a self-check and smelled fresh as a daisy (well…not like pee anyway).

I keep things trimmed and apply a bit of Lume deodorant after washing in the morning.

After a shower, old spice body wash, deodorant, and my usual cologne. I feel like I smell more like that perfume stand that annoys everyone lol.

I keep myself hydrated, change regularly and use Pampers “Botanical Rain” scented wipes. I’ve never had any issues with odor as far as I know, and my wife has never complained.

Changing as soon as you can after having an accident and using baby wipes I find works for me. I have (pee) accidents too frequently to shower every time so baby wipes cover me most of the time.
