Has anyone tried these? I just ordered a package as my last stash before I have to take a break due to living situations. They look like ABU SDKs and I’ve read a few good things about them, but I wanted to know if anyone more recently has had the chance to try them? Any thoughts?
They’re a single large tape version of their Inspire. Everything else is the same. The Inspire line is their lower-capacity diapers and includes Spoiled, Rebel, Seduction, and Little Squirts. (Little Squirts is also a single large tape diaper)
These are similar to Inspire+InControl (aka Princes, Safari, Alpaca), which are basically an Inspire with a built-in booster (that’s the “+InControl” part) that about doubles capacity.
So if you’re familiar with any other Rearz product, that should give you a point of comparison. They’re all white, except for the blue end of the tapes to pull plus a blue rectangle in the middle to mark the booster. I think they were intended to look like original Pampers before they started adding prints to the tape panel. Capacity is very similar to the current SDKs, though Rearz diapers size a little larger, so the diaper is going to be a few inches longer and wider than an SDK. I stocked up a bit on these when I thought they might stop selling them, but I think they sold well enough that Rearz has decided to keep carrying the model.
If you’re looking for a quality single-tape all-white diaper, they’re the obvious choice.
Thanks for the reply! Never tried a rearz product before but I always hear really good things about their safaries. Would you say these are better or worse than the SDKs? Cause that’s what I was really looking for.
The Inspire are completely white, unlike the SDK/Cushies there’s no print on the front tape panel. They have decent front and rear waist elastic, and iirc SDK don’t have front elastic? And as mentioned, the sizing is a little larger. But other than that they are identical. The front tape panel may be a little stiffer / shinier than SDK also? So unless you want a little bit of print on the front, I’d say they’re slightly better than SDKs.
Also, I don’t recall how the SDKs are when wet, but the inspire get very crinkly when wet. Because they’re longer than SDK, they’ll fit an inch or two higher in the front and back also, I don’t know if you’d count that as a plus or a minus. It’s been awhile since I tried an SDK, I wonder if the padding (when dry) might be a little thinner on the Inspire?
Thanks for the reply! I’m excited to try them, but sadly it does look like this is the only package of them I’ll ever get. That limited run is at its end. I hope rearz made enough to keep this style around. You’ve got me curious on how crinkly they are goin to be.
