Pull Ups On Backwards

I was checking the comments on a diaper manufacturer 's site years ago and one man said that he got better use from a pull up diaper by wearing it backwards. I tried doing that and it just felt different. Anyone do that?

There was one story that is a diaper failure from hell. A woman is at a job interview and has a fecal blow out. A week later she got the usual “thanks for visiting us but we found someone with a better fit” letter and a bill for $300 for cleaning the chair and office rug.

Poor woman D:

On some pull-ups, the padding appears more generous in back. I don’t doubt that, in some situations, a backwards pull-up is better. Never done it myself, though.

About the interview: I wonder how much of that is true. Could be… a little embellished. I was interviewing a guy for a software engineer position, and his glasses completely fell to pieces. He spent the last half of the interview holding one lens up to his eye like a monocle. I felt terrible for the guy, and I didn’t hire him, although it certainly had nothing to do with the glasses incident. Still, I wondered what that story grew into when the guy left and told his friends and family. People love excuses and sympathy.

I wear 2 differnt pull ups. The cheap Medlines when I won’t be leaving home and the Dry Direct ones for when I’m out and also for when I go to bed and want a very wet diaper on. Just a couple of days ago I was wearing a Medline pull up and it was just plain uncomfortable. I’ve had an issue or two over the years with their quality and figured I had just got hold of one that was made badly. Wrong. When I checked 5 or 6 hours later, I discovered I had put it on backwards. I hope I never do that again. I’ve never put a Dry Direct on backwards; but, maybe I’ll try it to see how it fits. It doesn’t appear to have any more padding in the back than in the front so I doubt there is any advantage.

I’ve never tried it, but I’d question that idea. While the back doors sometimes go up higher, it seems manufacturers often or way less SAP in the back.
