Anyone else have this pet peeve when chatting to an adult baby?
When you first start chatting to them and they speak/type in baby talk. I really find that off putting.
Does anyone else have this pet peeve or find anything else annoying

Personally it annoys me intensly. I can’t stand it, to the point I have booted people froma site I moderate for continually using it.
I wouldn’t call it a pet peeve but I also find baby talk in adult forums annoying. Of course, once in a while or a word or two doesn’t bother me much but beyond that I tend to skip the rest of the post.
Baby talk doesn’t annoy me on its own, but it reads differently that normal text and shouldn’t be used for general conversation outside of emphasis of a concept.
I too find this off putting.
I know people in real life who are not good at separating their baby life from their adult life. And it’s really uncomfortable to be around if you don’t know them well.
Like I get it’s cool to have a niche shared interest but I really don’t wanna be constantly asked if I’ve been diapered lately or asked to change them. Real quick easy way to label yourself as a creep.
We’ve got other interests too.
Definitely. Nothing I’ve seen on here pisses me of more. I especially hate a typed cry. I don’t even really think we’re supposed to do that are we? It’s kind of what we can expect on a site like this though I guess. I really appreciate those that have a sense of reality and the fantasy is kept to themselves.
I’m with you: it annoys the hell out of me. Those who baby-talk have the air of someone who is mocking the ABDL community. I know they in all likelihood aren’t, but it would also be the approach that someone who was wanting to would take. It’s incredibly inauthentic, as well. Write it in text: sure; out loud, though: cringeworthy.
actually on most forumd here on adisc we don’t see a lot of it. there is somethat will but will usually speak adult english if asked.
I really hate baby talk or someone instantly calling themselves baby/mommy/daddy etc…I want to know you as a person before I let down my guard and really let you know my other side
