I was wondering if anybody else ever ordered from ABU and had package shipped to UPS store. To order online you have to put your address and shipping address was wondering if I could just put the UPS store address in for both. Will package make it to the UPS store.
I’ve had cases delivered to my local UPS store. Many stores give you a tracking number, but I have created a free account with UPS so they have my address, email, and cell phone. When a package is coming, I get an email and a text message, from UPS. (so it doesn’t matter if the seller doesn’t give me a tracking number) I can then click the link and “change delivery”, and have it redirected to my local UPS store for pickup. There’s no charge. You need to have an account set up to make change online, but I don’t think you need an account to call them up and arrange for the hold that way.
FedEx used to do free redirects, but then they started charging for it last year. I don’t know if they gave up on that or not. (seriously… charging me* extra* for you to do less work?)
I did it with tykables and Fedex shipped to local Walgreens, check abus faq area for instructions.

My local Wallgreens is also a FedEx dropoff, but they’re not always the sharpest bunch. One time I had over $1,000 in hard drives directed there for pickup (rather than leave on my porch!) and I got there and they said it wasn’t there yet. And me with my “your package is ready for pickup” in hand.
They sweated it for about 45 minutes as they tore the back receiving area apart trying to find it. (it had even been signed for so they were on the hook for a grand) They finally found it in a stack of inventory received for their Hallmark stand. The HDD case box looked almost photo identical to the Hallmark boxes they get the cards in!
