ok should i start wearing diapers im dry i have leaks sometimes but its been a while i have bad anxiety this virus is making it worse would diapers calm me at night or maybe plastic bed pads or pullups or safety rail any ideas i have autism just scared ok
I think its a personal preference. Wearing a diaper or a poise pad can give me some comfort at night and help me sleep.
If the help calm you then sure why not? Pick what you like or what works best and go for it.
ok would it be uncomfty
any ideas
plastic backed is hard to adjust to at first because they get warm,
ok when sleeping will it be comfty
i never have a problem, i even like thew plastic back being slick on my sheets
all in how you wear them, but the cloth backs tend to leak under normal use, so i perfer plastic
Try some pull ups for a night and see what you think. Then give a diaper a try. See which one you like best and then just use that one.
I find them comfy.
ok im dry just for safety
ok thanks
No problem.
You might prefer some brands more than others though. Its really a preference think in my opinion. Just like some underwear is more comfortable than others. So far each kind I’ve tried has been alright unless it didn’t fit.
I know the anxiety feeling. I have autism as well, a big part of why I am in diapers. But you can do what you do. If you have the luxury of not having to wear them, don’t.
If wearing a diaper helps you emotionally over the worrying about leaking then wear a diaper, even if you donot use it and you change out of a completely dry diaper thats ok as its done its job to keep you protected and has reduced your stress level.
I wear a plastic backed diaper (Betterdry or crinklz aquanauts) are my diaper of choice and it does not take long for your body to adapt to being in a plastic backed diaper. Even in the current heat wave its been a non issue but my body adapted years ago.
I have autism, but due to being urinary incontinent, I have to wear diapers
I have been autistic since at least the age of 3, but I am not at all IC
Give it a try if you think you’ll like it or if it will help you. Keep wearing if it works out. easy.
