I notice no matter how much I drink before bed if I’m not wearing a diaper I won’t pee the bed, I’ll wake up at night. But the nights I wear a diaper I always wake up in the morning with a wet diaper why is this?
Not sure why its happening, but sounds like the perfect scenario to me.
I pee the bed every night nappies or not.
I kinda have the same thing going on as the OP, although I don’t wet every night, maybe twice a week I’ll wake up to a wet diaper, I equate that your body being diaper trained, I have that ability to just go with little or no thought when padded, like sometimes Im rather surprised to feel that sudden spurt of warmth in my crotch area, or if I’m busy and finally get a little down time, I’ll check my diaper and be surprised that its as wet as it is.
My fiancée when home usually comes by every so often to check me too, I think its easier for her because she makes it a specific time, but when I’m alone I tend to ignore it.
The cool thing about being diaper trained like that, is when I do wear normal boxers out and about (like work) I have a bladder of steel, I can literally hold it for a whole day if need be, no fuss, no leaks, no nothing.
Wish I could wet in my diaper when I sleep. Did you train yourself? How long did it take?
Your body knows you are safely padded and able to pee with ease.
I think everyone is different, for me I started wearing diapers a lot and got very use to using them, my first trickles of going without realizing it actually started happening during the day time when I would wear, I would wake up normal, get some coffee and do my normal void while pouring a cup, then I would sip my coffee and do my normal routine, every once in a while, id feel a little trickle here and there, nothing serious, it was more or less felt like my faucet was cracked open.
Pretty soon I realized that I was going without putting any thought into it, slowly I got use to it, but never really wet at night, I would say this was prob after 8 months of wearing diapers every night to bed.
I had my first legit accident at night after being diapered every night for almost a year and a half, my night time accidents occur usually if I go to sleep very exhausted, I’m guessing that I go into a deep catatonic state sometimes, these are the nights that I will wet.
It wasn’t until I met my fiancée and she was on board with the whole ab/dl thing that things really took off, her background is fitness motivated, thats what she enjoys, we even met at the gym, but one of the things that she kinda forces me to do is drink 1 galloon of water a day, this keeps me hydrated, reduces appetite for a proper proportion diet, and stops the urge for processed salty snacks, it works but the one side effect for me is obviously falling into a deep sleep and wetting. I usually only have 1 or 2 accidents a week at night, but if I’m working a lot of OT or doing something high energy intensive in-between work, you can rest assure that I will wake up wet the next morning.
I’m not really worried about the whole loosing control thing either, when I’m in regular boxers I have one of the best bladders around, I have gone away for work (overnight stay for 2 weeks at a time) working 16hr days and never had an accident either so to me its just being diaper trained.
Your brain is responding to your diaper stimuli. I’m incontinent, so I’m going to get wet anyway.
I have nocturnal enuresis I set the bed every night no matter what I’m a daytime wearer by choice
Yes I did train myself. If you’re really serious about it you can do it in a month. Practice reverse kegels, drink a bottle of water every 30 minutes then when u pee don’t clinch at the end and hold that as long as possible and PRACTICE laying down letting go and peeing. Then before bed drink a bottle of water relax ur urinate sphincter and go to sleep and in about 2 weeks you’ll notice you wake up and have to pee just let it go and fall back asleep and sometime in the next two weeks you’ll wake up with a wet diaper
Your subconscious is at work, knows you have a diaper on. But I am finding this is not reliable, for myself anyway- which is resulting in some wet beds. This is a long story but briefly I have had for years very frequent urination, but don’t sleep soundly with a diaper on. So I am awake 6-8 times in the night to get up and pee (I have a bucket nearby), but I don’t always wake up (this is very recent and might be related to trying to wear at night.)
Mattress covers a must!
I wet the bed last night but I’ve been very ill recently so I didn’t take it out on myself it was a total accident
I don’t always wear to bed but when I do I drink a bunch of water to make sure I have an “accident”.
I know that I’ll always wake up but I’ve trained to try and stay as still as possible, keep eyes closed, and make sure I’m positioned so that I won’t leak. I’ll try to fall back asleep as I’m peeing.
Sometimes I’ll wake up in the morning not remembering waking in the middle of then night to pee but I know I did wake a little.
It’s nice in the morning when I feel my diaper and see that I had an “accident”!
