So due to Covid I’m having to fill other roles at work.
Today I’m performing a security role somewhere I’ve never worked before. I’m using CCTV, checking people/vehicles, opening the gate etc all socially distanced as best I can. Due to lockdown its not as busy as it normally is.
I’m working on my own (albeit support nearby if needed) in a tiny building with a small kitchen and thankfully Sky TV. However the toilet is located a short walk away.
I’m sat here thinking to myself how wearing a nappy would suit this situation perfectly, especially with amount of coffee I’m drinking!
I’ve never worn outside my house before but this is probably the only time at work I could get away with it and it would be hugely beneficial, not to mention making me happy!
In my normal day to day I simply couldn’t get away with it and would hate for anyone to realise and find out about it
Maybe if today’s situation arose again and I was brave enough I could try it!
I work security, all alone in a small 5X8 guard shack with a port a potty next to it. I am diapered every shift and use my diapers instead of the port a potty.
I know the feeling, back when I used to use the port a potty there would always be someone at the gate waiting, now I dont have that problem anymore, I just use my diapers.
Wearing a nappy at work can give you awesome powers of endurance and independence! Some of my work is in a comfortable office environment, where a nappy is a convenient luxury. But equally there are events involving long attention spans, remote or difficult-to-access sites or other special working environments, where I have come to think of nappies almost as an essential resource (which is OK because I wear full time anyway.) It’s a pity that isn’t widely recognised in my industry so I can’t bring it out into the open like divers, astronauts and airline cabin crew It’s likely that some of my colleagues know I wear but they would not know why specifically, and it’s not fair to possibly embarrass them by trying to discuss it.
There are a few situations where I might get stuck in a position of being unable to change in private (but able to use a toilet) or a physical activity is needed that would make it impossible to conceal the nappy, so I un-pad. With a long-term aim of remaining happily and discreetly nappied full-time, one has to make compromises and going without a nappy for a few hours is not a huge deal. But otherwise, hell yeah.
You probably don’t want to hear this; but…you could wear at work with total confidence of not being noticed. Give in a bit and trade your tape/tab style diapers for a pull up for those days you want to wear to work. There are quite a few very comfortable pull ups with good capacity that make no noise. I know because that’s what I wear. It may not be the nappy of choice; but, it would be a reasonable substitute that allows you to enjoy wearing at work. Just a thought.
So due more people going sick or isolating with the virus I’m working a Sunday night shift back at the site I was when I first posted this.
This is definitely the best opportunity I’ve ever been given to wear a nappy to work! And probably the only time I’ll ever get away with it. I’m on my own in a gatehouse, they’ll be minimal people coming and going due to local lockdown restrictions and it’s going to be freezing outside so I don’t fancy the walk to the toilet block.
I’m considering my options and thinking of going with a Drylife Slip Xplus. Not too bulky but good absorbency and odour control.
Other than that I’ve got ABU Simple Ultra, ABU SDK, Bambino Magnifico, Rearz Barnyard, or Tykables Galactic
Currently sat at work in a Drylife Slip XPlus and it feels great! I wasn’t quite brave enough to wear it here as I was paranoid the guy I was taking over from would notice so I had two in my rucksack. As soon as he left I walked to the toilet block and got changed. Now I can sit and watch TV all padded up until morning and not have to go outside in the cold at all
I wear at work all the time, I work in a small office but choose nappy’s appropriately, just a Tena Super ProSkin (I think that’s what they’re called these days).
I wear the Active Fit at home, but always wear the quieter types at work.
No one has ever noticed, at least they’ve never mentioned it.
I wore a diaper to work for the first time yesterday and again today… pretty safe though, since there’s very few others around.
I did bump into a colleague though, but people would have to be extremely observant to notice any difference. The only issue was going to the toilet. I didn’t want to mess my diaper at work, so I just went to the toilet and reattached my diaper. It was, however, surprisingly noisy, and I guess I wouldn’t do it on a normal work day.
It was more of a test to see if I could walk to work and back without chaffing, as this happened before when I went shopping wearing a diaper. I got a really bad sore on my inner thigh, even though I was only out for a total of around 20 minutes. I think the culprit was the fact that the onesie I wore didn’t fully cover the side of the diaper, and so the plastic of the diaper rubbed against my leg. Even with baby powder, it still seemed to be a problem, so I wore a different onesie (littleforbig) and that did the trick.
I work in agriculture and based from the home farm. I wear everyday and see many folks throughout the day. The main goal in wearing to work, etc is to be at ease with it. I’m sure some folks know I wear, but you know, this is my own personal business. Most respect that I’m sure. No one has ever said a thing to me and I’m going on about 3 years now.
I don’t wear larger diapers by day, mostly north shore supreme lites, tranquility atn, seni super plus, and cloth with liners.
I wear at work every single day, I have a mostly desk job, so I’m sitting most of the time, but I have constant contact with others for meetings, experiments, etc. I usually wear two Tena Slip Super, to keep things as discrete as possible, I wear also a polo onesie or a shirt-like onesie, to avoid my diaper from peeking through my back. I change once a day around noon. I then wear something more powerful like Tykables, Rearz or Crinklz at home.
