Mexican goodnites

Hello,

For all the goodnites experts over here, are those valuable ?

It’s odd that the Mexican Goodnites are still unisex after all these years. All other Goodnites/DryNites from the Americas, Europe, Korea, and Australia/NZ have been gender-specific for quite a while now.

I highly doubt they’re that much difference outside of design but maybe the sizing is a tad different due to average heights? That said the few times I have visited family in Mexico I have noticed a lot of products, at least in Central Mexico, tend to be several generations behind their US counterparts.

You could sell them a bit higher price on ebay than normal goodnites, especially because those ones are plain white which puts them at around a few years vintage maybe more. Overall though, no they are not very high value compared to 1990s goodnites/drynites. Hope that helps

That was exactly the answer I was looking for.

thanks

I wonder what the actual dimensions are like compared to the 90s versions?

It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that Mexico had the original XL unisex size all this time!

I chalk it up to cultural / societal differences.

I’ve never bought any, but from what I’ve seen online, I think they have circle pattern on them now. They were plain white for a long time.

On Amazon Mexico, looks like they’re now chevrons

The bad thing is the Older Kids might want the White.

Actually the customer images show stripe and planet designs, but expect there’s a market for these if only black designs are sold elsewhere.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the age of potential consumers as the title says “Ideal para niños de 8 a 14 años” whereas the packaging says 7-11 años. Maybe they are preparing for the new XL 12-20 size in 2021?

Could be that or might just be put in place to try and convince parents to buy them for older kids.

I agree, or it was just a straight translation from the .com listing. Still a mystery why 57kg is suited for a different age bracket unless it assumes MX kids are heavier than US kids at the same age?

They finally updated the MX Goodnites and packaging? For the longest time, they were like a generation or two behind.
