Medium vs Large

I’ve only tried diapers from rearz and tykables and found the I do need the large size. I feel I’m right In between the medium and large. The sad part I feel is that while the larges fit better, I feel like it comes up really high on my back and over my tummy. Not long after getting it on it slides down my back and under my tummy. (I’m 5’11” and 207lbs. I don’t look big but my gut kinda sticks out.) The medium size sits where I would like but is just barely to small around my waist. Maybe this is that last little push I need to lose a few more pounds . Either way this won’t keep me from padding up!

XL Peek ABU’s re very tight,

but somehow its such a perfect fit, snug and tight,

maybe i should not lose wight…

I think even when I fit in medium large still feels better.

I just got rearz large diapers and had the same issue -high in the back and front. I’m similar size and just a tad lighter, and I’ve been kicking myself for not buying the mediums. Thanks for making me feel better not being the only one being between sizes.

Well, I’m 6’0” and about 185, and Mediums (for the most part) fit me pretty well, Tykables especially because they are cut more generously. Maybe try shedding a few pounds and see how they fit.

Better to have a diaper be too big than too small

I can squeeze my large butt into mediums, but they are not a good fit most of the time … the exception is ABU Bunny Hops 1 tab diapers

I’m looking into getting some from ABU, I’m interested in how the 2 tab diapers would fit. 4 tab mediums are tight around the legs but the higher tapes are usually fine

4 Tapes Peek ABU’s in XL just fit. but its always a hassle to close

the tapes, guess im a little to fat

but as long as i can close them everything is fine ^^

i vole how tight they fit, somehow that is exact what i want my diaper to be ^^

I can admit from personal experience that 2-tape diapers seem to fit a lot looser than 4-tape ones (at least with my body shape). I don’t like this feeling personally, so I usually stick with 4-tape diapers. However, in your case, the looseness of the 2-tapes might be an advantage. It’s worth trying out a sample of them!

Additionally, PeekABUs tend to run smaller than the other ABU lineups. Thus, I would also suggest trying out the LittlePawz/Space/Simple lineup (assuming you like how they look), as they are a lot more encompassing with their size ranges. They are 4-tapes each, but I usually order in size medium for the LittlePawz and in size large for the PeekABUs due to the slight sizing discrepancies.

Littlepawz look really nice, but the colored wings arent my style,

i love when my diapers look closer to real Baby Diapers.

I think about getting a pack of Simples, with nice stickers,

do you have any experience with them?

Yeah, I understand the colored wings being a disadvantage - it is a bit of an odd color/pattern. I thought they were pretty meh as well, but funny enough, now that I have used the LittlePawz diapers more, I can say that I don’t really mind the colored wings anymore (admittedly, though, I personally don’t really care if the diaper looks like a baby diaper or not).

I personally have not had any experience with Simples. However, they are the exact shell as LittlePawz, which I have had only good experiences with (they are currently my favorite ABDL diaper). Therefore, I’m sure that they work just the exact same way - they hold a bit less than the PeekABU diapers (5000 ml vs. 6250 ml), but they are still part of the “premium” line of ABU’s diapers and function as you would expect.

I just wanted to add that Simple should not be confused with Simple Ultra.

Simple Ultra is the same as PeekABU, which is not as big as Simple/LittlePaws.

Also, note that the Simples have black ABU logos on the edges of the landing zone. Not sure if that would bother you or not.

The black sign would not be a problem, when i buy Simples, i will buy stickers as well.

its 52€ for 20 Diapers, still expensive, but well its a luxury thing,

and i won’t use 4 or 5 per day, in that case i would get me

some cheaper medical diapers.

that costs more ^^

yea, except the bunny hops are not cloth backed, they are plastic, with velcro tabs

There always seems to be that fine line between medium and larges and I’ve been riding that line for 15+ years. Depending on the manufacturer or even models with the same mfg they can fit different in the same size

over the years I’ve tried out pretty much every diaper out there in both sizes, usually starting with a bag of each to get a good idea on how they will fit and function then go with cases after that. If it’s something that’s known to fit on the small or large size I’ll try a sample first, but just trying one or 2 diapers isn’t going to give you a good idea of how the diaper fits and performs, rather just “is it going to fit, or not”

Every body is different, as is pretty much every model of diaper. Just have to keep trying till you find the right one!
