Medications and mania

My psych switched my medication up and I was seeing shit the other night. I haven’t slept well but have had a lot of doctor appointments.

They insist I take this medication called Geodon, and I am sure I have been having mania when I lay in bed and pace around the apartment.

I don’t understand why my psych has been so pushy about it but my doctor appointments are free for now. I feel helpless.

Not sleeping well, and with my neck injury it has been insane going from sleeping 12 hours to sleeping 4 hours in 2 days to 5 hours a night.

I had a councilor appointment today. They said this medication is to help me loose weight?

wtf

Best wishes to you, my friend. Take your meds. Follow advice. Get better!

I take Lunesta now for the last 2 years because I just can’t worth a damn anymore. It does a good job of knocking me out for a good 7 hours. I truly don’t wake up when I have to go.

I agree that a second opinion would be good. I’ve had my meds changed like 5 times this year and finally found something to help stabilize my mood swings.

I agree with you as well. :(y):

I swallowed some pieces of paper that looked like a tiny window many years ago that made me see all kinds of things and some mushrooms that had much the same affects. More seriously, a lot of psychiatrists are awfully quick on the draw with their prescription pads. Having your blood tested for hormone and body chemical levels should be their first move as these can have profound effects on your mental wellbeing.
