Unfortunately there are some people that do not read profiles, and assume that’s because you’re a little you will be into things that you might not be.
You do need to be very clear on what you are looking for and what you are comfortable with within a Mummy from the outset.
It always takes time to build up the trust between Little and a Big, so don’t rust in to anything take your time,

The most common way is to start dating normally. Don’t specifically look for someone into the abdl or caregiver sceene. After a few dates introduce them to your diapering needs and gauge their reaction. If it’s generally positive then over the next few months slowly introduce them to being a caregiver. Hopefully within a year or so you’ll have the mommy you’re looking for. If not then break up and start over with looking.

you also have to realize you can’t really go out thinking that “Oh yes I’m gonna ask most of these women if they will be my mommy” and expect to give nothing in return for being treated as a baby or whatnot
