Long running threads closed?

Am I safe to assume that long running threads are ‘closed to future replies’ if the thread starter was a UK (and thus deleted) member?" Seems that’s happening over the day today.

Yes. The idea is to transition members away from those threads so if I later delete the accounts of former members from the UK, including their threads, currently active threads don’t suddenly disappear.

Feel free to create new threads on the same topics.

It is obviously your call, but there is so much good in some of those posts. Couldn’t you just disable the accounts and leave them? That way the information/content is preserved that might help someone else and also allows for if the law does change for you to welcome the UK folks back without them losing everything? Just a thought.

I already did disable the accounts and left them.

I’m not yet sure what I will do with regards to content created by those accounts. But I am trying to at least identify it and stop it being added to while I figure that out.
