Starting a week vacation today (yay!) but kicked it off with an 8 hour drive to the beach. Would normally pad up since I do bad on long car rides and my bf is okay with it. But my bf’s mom joined us and she doesn’t know I wear sometimes. Hit bad traffic and really had to go. Almost didn’t make it. Wish I could have worn. Would have made the trip less stressful.
Anyone else always do bad on road trips? I can never seem to hold more than 2 hours in the car.
I have been on long road trips and thought I could make it. I was on a lonely stretch of highway and I thought I was going to make it to an exit off the highway. I could see the gas station sign in the distance and floored the gas. I felt the signal too late and I gushed into my diaper and flooded it and soaked my clothes and the front seat of my car. I got off at the exit and got to the gas station and got some clothes and a diaper out of my suitcase and squished my way to the men’s room. Someone was in there and I waited outside the door on pissy clothes. Finally a lady came out of the ladies room and i changed as quick I could and bolted out of there. Had to continue my drive sitting on cardboard in a warm pissy smelling car.
I know the feeling of wishing you were diapered in certain situations.
I went on a solo road trip one time to do a 4 hour hike. Normally I’d pee in the woods but these trails were pretty busy that day. So I finished the hike only to find the visitor center restrooms were closed. I had a 2 hour drive home and I figured I could make it. About halfway home I realized I needed a restroom immediately. I was really in pain trying to hold it in. I took the nearest exit with a gas station and got stuck at a light. The pain became too much to bear and I opened the floodgates. Soaked my jeans and my cars seat. Had to drive home wet and uncomfortable. I remember feeling ashamed I had a legit accident as a 24 year old. I had stepped away from wearing diapers at the time but this incident brought me back to it. I’m typically diapered now for hikes and car rides.
I’m sorry that’s terrible. It’s annoying when something as simple as a diaper would have solved the problem.
