a few poofs suggested ideas and i can`t decide what to go with, so i figured… maybe go with all of them? idk how to make that work other than some kind of special color scheme or maybe clothing items?

I have about 3or 4 but it all depends on my mood you see you can have more than one but you need to make sure you separate them for your mood like for me sometimes I’m in a my little pony mood and sometimes I’m in a Pokemon mood is about finding what works for you

Joking aside, there’s nothing necessarily wrong with having multiple ones, and lots of people do have multiples, but there are a few things to keep in mind:

Do you have the time/money/creative drive to actual maintain them all? What’s the point of having multiples if they’re never developed beyond some descriptions and lists of random factoids about them?

It can get confusing to other people when you’re constantly representing yourself with different characters.
My recommendations to you:

If you have the personality down but just can’t decide on a look, keep the “character” but try out different looks until you settle on something you like. You could even have multiple looks (my character has three different color schemes: mostly brown as a baby, mottled brown and white as a tween/teen, and white with brown on the left side of the head as an adult).

If you want completely different personalities as well as looks, I’d still settle on one to be a “main fursona” for people to generally know you by. Then pick out a few others you can develop into secondary characters for stories/art or that you can RP as if the mood strikes or whatever.

Surely finances play a part in how many detailed fursonas a person can have?!!
Depends on if you’re the creative doing all the artwork/stories yourself or if you’re paying someone else to be creative for you.
You can have as many OCs as you want even if you don’t know what to do with them

I have 11 but I normally keep it to my 4 squeaky dinos. I’m thinking of making 2 more but really sitting down and thinking since most of my characters were adopts

I don’t. The majority were impulse adopts and I haven’t done much if anything. Amazingly one of my dinos I first saw back in 2012 when I joined the fandom which inspired me to make Zoran and I own him which is insane thinking about it.

Thank you! There doesn’t seem to be many padded dinos and even fewer characters at all that are inflatable and diaper wearing.Here he is!

also he inspired me to make my 3rd dino character and I incorporated some ideas that I had way way long ago since I originally wanted to make a Stitch/Skylande hybrid character that could inflate and deflate pooltoys but that went nowhere.

Thanks! I love it too and more squeaky dinos would be awesome! As for my original character that would be cool if I could get him made out but I’ve been thinking of my new ones and actually making a new identity that stays inflatable but doesn’t involve diapers as all the good inflatable artists don’t like them and it’s quite sad.

That’s exactly what it is. I’m find many at least don’t mind or at least tell me they don’t want to and that’s a bummer but understandable. I’ve had a very few flat out block me for even asking if they would be ok with diapers and one of those persons talking shit about me behind my back and that person was my dream inflatable designer no less. Once I find someone I can’t wait to make the inflatable community flip it’s lid over diapers since they will be a prominent feature in my ideas.lol
