So. This discussion needs to stay civil.
This is more to discuss the crazy out come of the election on what you think of the differences between the possible elects.
I would prefer keeping our current presidents name out of this discussion as it has nothing to do with this topic.
Lastly and most importantly! Please please please. If you have different views from each other do not argue about them here. That is not the purpose of this thread. We are here to talk about what you think of it and what you like and dislike about them. Please do not argue about each others beliefs or what they like or dislike. We are trying to keep this civil
Now that the ground rules are set!
What the heck just happened… Pete of all the people takes the majority vote (at the time of me posting this). This is freaking crazy. According to the polls this really shouldn’t of happened.
So after seeing him take the lead I immediately went to look up his positions and who the heck he was.
I was completely shocked to see he was openly gay. I think this would be a huge twist in this election process if he made it to the end and became the elect.
Overall I am pretty happy with his position but so have some heh views on his choices.
To start I like his choice of what to do with colleges helping the poor afford college and expanding the Pell Grant. I feel this is something long over due!
I am not 100% certain his views on all of the lgbtq+ stances but I am fairly certain if someone is gonna give rights to those people… He is the guy to do it!
Lastly. I absolutely love his stance on free and fair elections. Allowing for early ballots and automatic registration. As well as allowing felons to vote. This is something that should of been in play from the start. If you dont wanna vote just ignore the letter and move on. I feel thats the way it should be!
As for my negative stance. Is he isnt very clear on a few of his postions that I wish he was more clear on. Mainly for me is cannabis.
Something else to note is I wish he had videos explaining all his views and what he plans to do for people lazy like me!
I feel if he wins a few more states i might end up voting for him as my elect because he covers my requirements.
(I completely understand there are a bunch of you not liking my beliefs but I am not here to argue that. I am just here to listen and to see what you guys think of what I saw as a shocker!)
