I'm so beat!

I started a new job this week. A great opportunity really, with a growing company and am going to make the most money I ever have (as well as working the hardest as I ever have).

I want to reward myself with a Diap but damn I’m so beat I can’t even reward myself.

Congratulations on the job.

I know what you mean. There have been many days over my life that I was so tried after a day’s work that I barely had the strength to undress much less do anything else before falling into bed for a nice nighttime sleep.

Give It time at will level out and It will get better.

Yep. That is what will happen. You will develop a routine that will include how to wind down after work. When you find the routine that relaxes you the most, you will then find the time and energy to enjoy your diapers again. Good luck with the new job. Enjoy this new time in your life.

Congrats on new job with better pay , one thing you have to remember is that you have to pay yourself first… I’m guessing your mid 20’s… well paying yourself first will have big dividends when your mid 60’s 70’s set aside for that time you will thank yourself in 50 years

Congrats and good luck. Once you are over the hump with the newness you’ll get in the groove and you’ll be proud of your accomplishments.

I found that when my job used to take so much of my energy, I had less interest/need for my diapers. Still wore on occasion, but not as much. I”m retired now and my diapers have regained their prominence.

Enjoy the new job and don’t worry about rewarding yourself with diapers. Your accomplishments will be a reward in addition to a diaper when you’re ready for an additional reward.

Normally when I get that tired from work I usually need to wear a diaper at night or I will wake up to a wet bed, weird how my body works sometimes, but congrats.

Aside from actual DL stuff, let me give you a piece of advice that was given to me by an older person, when I started my career job I was so impressed with the extra money I was making, I’ve always been kind of a saver, but being young and dumb, I would feel the need to be generous and buy dinners / drinks ect for friends at bars and stuff.

An old timer asked me one day if this is the most money I ever made, I said yes, he then asked how much money did I use to make, I explained that I came from a job that wasnt stable, so I would frequently fluctuate, but I would say on average I was making on straight time about $300 more dollars a week. The old timer then guided me to our company’s credit union info, he said to start an account with them and put in $150 automatically per week, Thankfully I listened to him, its been 15yrs since I started with that company and I’ve been putting xyz into an account automatically every week, I have never touched that money, I never had it, so I don’t miss it, and now I have a good sized rainy day nest egg for myself & fiancee if something should happen.

Too add about saving money automatically, since I am a union worker we have contractual raises that a negotiated, usually our contract are the typical 3 year, and our raises are between 2 - 3% per year, it doesnt seem like a lot but it adds up overtime, especially since interest rates have remained fairly stable and inflation has been kept in check. I also moved up the ranks within the same parent company, I started 15yrs ago basically at an entry level position and have worked through the years to gain certain certifications to be able to advance, each technical job title that I gone to has had its own pay scale and I’ve increased my income from advancing.

Smartly besides the auto deposit I do, I’ve also sat down and figured out my bare minimum fee’s, those are all my bills, car payments, utilities, insurances, property taxes, the mortgage, food and so on. I then figure out what I need to increase when a raise comes my way, I havent increased my savings deduction in the last 4 years, still keep it steady, instead I took that extra percentage and put it into my retirement account, letting it grow though there, you also have to plan for the future and stick with it. When I was in my early 20’s 35 seemed so far out, I’m now 35 and dam, my 20’s to me were just yesterday, time flies by, so prepare yourself now so your better off later.
