I'm just asking but why doesn't adisc have an app

I Was looking on the Google play store and I couldn’t find an app anywhere. Is it because just the sight if the app will out the person who has it on thier phone?

Doesn’t really need one maybe? Probably has a lot to fo with this being a free experience with wonderful volunteers that keep things running.

hmm good question

Do they really need an app? The site works very well with my iPhone without an app and I found that I can do anything that I’ve wanted with my phone just going through Duck Duck Go, my browser. There have been a couple of other incontinence and DL, or ABDL sites that didn’t work the best by this method but that was a year or two ago and from what I’ve seen even those are working now with my browser. Might have been my browser’s problem or the site’s but it’s gone away now. Stay padded, how’s that old saying go? “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”!

Having an app that you can password protected would be great but unless

the owners of adisc can code it gets expensive to have an app written and continually updated,

They’ve gone for a nap

I think the question is, what would an app provide over the mobile browser experience.

A common motivation for providing an app for something that can just as easily be a mobile version of a website is increasing ad revenue. App users are more valuable than mobile web users because they are making a deliberate action to view your content and are less likely to quickly click off somewhere else and less likely to be running an ad blocker. Ad revenue isn’t exactly a concern here.

I thought at some point ADISC had TapTalk (I think that’s what it’s called) capability, but I could be wrong.

enough of all this smartphone crazyness, i don’t need another app taking up memory and resources, this forum works very well on a smartphone because it’s mobile css is pretty darn good, i have found little obstacles in using it.

There honestly is no advantage in having an app, functionality wise, and it would also require a lot of coding and maintenance, in addition to the forum, that being said, the forum software needs a REST API that is required for an app and if that’s not present, you can forget about it.

Uhm… doesn’t the discord-server provide everything any app could for this site? What more could one seek?

very good points perhaps adisc doesn’t need an app
