I’m cis female, and I’m struggling to let go when in a sitting position. Lying down and standing is no problem at all but I feel like the pressure against the diaper when I’m sitting makes it really hard. I don’t know if it’s just because of the position where pee comes out or what but it just doesn’t seem to work. I think it’s more to do with that than psychological.
Any advice appreciated.
Try just taking the weight off your diaper by supporting yourself with your arms, then it might flow more naturally.
It took me awhile to be able to do it, and it’s still kinda hard. Just give it time, and remember you have to relax. Good luck!!
You could try scooting forward on the seat, or sitting on the toilet with your nappy on. The usual cause is the nappy puts additional pressure on the perineum (the area between your rectum and vulva). Taking the pressure off it and possibly leaving a little “slack” in your nappy will probably do the trick. Remember keep up your kegel exercises!

This is exactly how I did it. Granted our anatomy is different(even though I point it down), it’s the muscle memory that prevents the flow.
