How to Use USPS General Delivery?

To order diapers online it seems that for now my best option for now is to use USPS General Delivery.

I’m pretty sure I set up the name and address like this:

First Name Last Name

GENERAL DELIVERY

Town, State

11111-9999

But I’m wondering is it necessary to include the -9999 in the zipcode?

Also, do I have to do any other set up with the post office or just input my information into the website I buy diapers from? And do I need to add the address of my post office.

Any help would be appreciated.

The 5 digits for the zip code are fine you dont need the other digits for the zip

Also, call the local post office. You have to anyways if you want to set it up

So I just tell them I want to set up a general delivery and they’ll walk me through it?

Just a reminder, of course, you’ll have to pay a postage fee that varies on the size of the case.
