Which diapers rise the highest in the back? I love that about my diapers.
That depends on size. I can wear both mediums and larges: the mediums look like thick underwear on me but larges look very babyish and thus the rise is greater. I am on the borderline between both sizes…and I wear larges for the babyish effect. ![]()
Exact same thing for me. Wish I could add more.
I’ve been wondering about this for awhile now. The damn diapers all stop right where my pants do; they push the back of my diaper down until half my butt feels uncovered.
I’m usually a medium size and find some variation between brands/styles. I find my Cuddlz Nursery prints ride up at the back nicely though!
In-between mediums and larges to, I normally wear mediums during the day and larges at night, because the larges provide better night time coverage, obviously higher riser in both the back and front, more fluff in my diaper seat area, one issue I’ve been having is with my little keeper sleepers and certain large size diapers, certain larges like tykables or rearz dinorawrs / barnyards while they provide excellent coverage, get super bulky as they get wet and really sag in the rear seat area, the design of the little keeper sleeper is to be form fitting (snug to your skin) to the rear seat of my larger diapers sometimes doesn’t seal (gets bunched up) and I develop little leaks.
When wearing these little keepers I tend to choose either medium diapers that run larger then the normal mediums such as Northshore mega max, or I wear large size diapers that run smaller such as abu dino or simple ultra / peekaboo, barebums. Its all about finding that certain diaper, remembering for certain applications they will have different performances.
Now when I’m just sleeping in a tee-shirt or a onesie I can wear the larger diapers with no issues, and do prefer them over the other diapers I have.
I wear the Molicare Super Slips and they rise high in the back. The reason why I ask is because to me, diapers are supposed to rise above the waist. Also with me, I don’t care if anyone sees my diaper if I bend over or reach for something, I try not to do it on purpose.
Confidry 24/7 has the highest rise of any diaper I have tried, and I have tried most.
I wear large so the ride high in the back
Diaper companies tend to use standard lengths for each size S,M and L. But they don’t list that information. Only Attends with waistband M was longer than most others. So while my waist size could take a medium, the rest of my form requires a large to feel properly “covered”. That’s why the reviews are so helpful, there we learn the actual dimensions of each product.
Exact same for me too, but do you find that going for the higher rise means more leaks because everything is more loose? Unfortunately that’s my experience. There should be a size medium-and-a-half.
In my instance, I found that wasn’t the case: for me, wearing a large means a higher rise but it also means my diaper tapes up closer to the front, just like on a baby…and the leg elastics seem to hold just as well. ![]()
If I tape on the landing pads the yes possibly unless i manage to pull them super tight, usually i tape the bottoms around the legs so they stay snug then the tops i aim as high as I can on the landing strips.
I feel the same way. It just feels and looks better.
Has anyone tried the Super Seni? Do they rise up in the back?
I’ve found the Molicare Slip Super, or Maxi as it now is, has the highest rise. The medium has as much rise as many other brand’s large.
The Abena M/L4 is also very good. I’ve not tried them, but I can imagine the sizing of a 24/7 being rather good.
