I’m not on my last diaper and the next delivery is in 3 days. Can anyone suggest how to make an absorbent diaper from stuff found at home? Cheers 
Is there not a nearby supermarket u could get something from. I know there probably not the best but will be more absorbing than wrapping a towel around you, just get u out the shit (sorry) till your delivery arrives. I don’t know where u are but most places here in UK do drynites are Tena type pants
I’ve called as many places as I could cycle to. But as I live in a village there is very little choice and by morning I don’t think I will have much time before the night (last) nappy is full.
Do you have a period pad? If not, I’m sure you have a t shirt. You can stack multiple pairs of underwear (not boxers), and I mean MULTIPLE, and then stuff a T-shirt in and you have an absorbent diaper. It holds a wet good, and a mess extraordinarily good. Just in case, I would wear a Walmart bag or garbage gab as plastic pants. That’s what I’m currently doing as I just used my last diaper two nights ago, and have some on the way.
I only have 2 pairs of underwear and tried putting them both on with a bag over the top on my run this evening. I can safely say it didn’t work. Any other ideas?

you can also use a period pad and some T-shirts, that has worked for me a few times. I did about 4 T-shirts but I am smaller, and they help up pretty good. You can just look up how to make it into a diaper, and then just pin it at the end! You don’t need the period pad, but I found it works better. You could also use a T-shirt as the diaper and then just wrap a roll or 2 or toilet paper around it, also works good, but some people may be sparse on toilet paper at these times, and it does use a lot of toilet paper, especially if you are someone who frequently changes. Do you change often, or do you wait?
Normally change when it feels like it’s pretty full. How long does your diaper idea last? How many pees do you think?
How bad is your IC? Your profile lists you as just DL and Little. Do you have any protection on your bed? I can’t think of anything else beyond what’s been mentioned. You’re going to need something waterproof on the outside and absorbent on the inside.
It’s quite a recent thing. I wouldn’t class myself as incontinent however from when I feel the urge to ‘go’ I have about 2 minutes to find a toilet otherwise it doesn’t end very well.
Best fold a bathroom towel as cloth diaper and wear plastic pants or bag over it. It’s better than thick layers of toilet or kitchen paper.
You will have to do a lot of laundry but if you can stay home you make better chance this way.
Actually, if you can, you might want to order some cloth diapers for future backup plans if you ever run into this again.
I will have a look to see what I can find. Thanks for your help. What I’m worried about is if I need to go ‘number 2’. I will have about 2 minutes to find a toilet or I will go in my diaper and then I won’t have any ‘proper’ ones left end I have to go out for quite a while tomorrow and quite a distance from any toilet and for a good few hours. I don’t know if it will hold up.

Probably best then to combine all your tasks tomorrow and then lay low until your shipment arrives. Assuming you’re on lockdown now like so many people. You’re sure you won’t be passing any pharmacies or discount stores? Until you mentioned #2 problems, I was going to suggest keeping a bottle onhand.

I tend to hold in and then let out pee, but depending on how thick I make it and all, it can hold a LOT. if you do two rolls it lasts me usually 2-3 and a half full bladder wettings. I also pee very quick, which I guess is why diapers leak a lot on me, but I’m sure it would last longer for you!
