help me pick my first diapers.

ok guys. I’ve been interested in this and know all of the brands and major players for a while. and a short term medical accident has now given me a great reason to actually experiment and buy premium diapers. i’m in the bed all day, need to stay hydrated, and am not able to go to a toliet of my own free will. I don’t have experience wearing, I just want something comfortable and functional for a 29in waist. all white is preferred due to the fact someone else will be assisting in the change. and velcro or re-fastanable tapes are a giant plus. I have a sample of the Megamax on the way but should I just go ahead and order a case? or should I look at the Simple Ultra from ABU?

Little paws in the SMedium size is as babyish as I’m wiling to go in my current situation.

Maybe try Crinklz? I find the prints to be more childish than babyish. Price is fair from Northshore, and capacity is pretty high.

the only reason I’m not sold on crinklz is the tapes.

Well my first diapers were lil monsters from rearz, they’re like $20 for a case on amazon

I find that they hold quite a lot and are comfortable! They refasten nicely in my experiences

But maybe wait for the answers of the diaper veterans :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Assuming by “all white” you mean medical and some medical markings are ok, the XP5000 by XPmedical meets all your criteria.

Crinklz is high capacity and best quality

to a not so high price, also more diapers

then others have in a Pack (15)

If you don’t like Prints the Better dry is the same diaper

just without print.

So a Crinklz is basically a high quality Incontinence product

but printed for ABDL.

You said this would be your first diaper?

How can you know the tapes are bad?

The tapes are good.

Yes I also think the tapes are good, actually a lot better than many others that I’ve tried. What’s been your experience/ problem with them @tails1234 ?

all i know is someone else is gonna be changing me so if I have tapes I’m partial to a hook and loop variety where they can be readjusted if needed.

Where did he say the tapes are bad?

Feel better, Northshore mega max mediums might be a little big, abu simple ultra mediums might do the trick but also might be big on you, you may want to get a sample from abu first before ordering.

XP medical has a new diaper, mediums run regular / smaller side and they have hook and loop fasteners, personally haven’t tried it out yet though,

ohhh I see! Then you’re a very lucky person I guess, having someone else who’d change you

@irnub Very true, the OP did not say that they are bad.

I just wanted to know if there’d been issues with the product but it’s totally understandable if one just prefers the hook and loop tabs.

i will chime in to and maybe all ready said here but if i repeat hope it helps you know it is good choice you should like the mega max well but i am very very happy with the north shore supreme also some say the mega max swell up as they get wet that may or may not be something you want going on the north shore supreme are just a mod thick diaper i can some what hide both being in a wheelchair but on a note to i rather show a bit of bulk than leak when out bulk cleans up way easier than leaks hands down

I think you can’t go wrong with ABU Simple Ultra. ABU Space is my absolute favorite and I think that’s it’s same.

Bambino Diapers has some pretty good ones that are all white! They offer free shipping too!

Well he said the Tapes are the one thing that lets him not choose

Crinklz, then he said he want re-adjustable Tapes, and the Crinklz

have second Tapes for re-adjustments so that implies he thinks the

Tapes are bad. :grinning:

But well i just wanted to change his mind,

in the end its his decision and he should take the diaper

he trusts the most, so all Cool on my side

No, it implies he wants tapes that have a better capacity for readjustment (e.g. hook and loop or taping panel).

Ok sorry  …

If you prefer medical hook and loop, then some good options are Seni Quatro, Seni Super Plus, Attends Premier or Northshore Air Supreme. I personally find the Northshore Air Supreme to be too stiff for my liking, but they wick really well. There is also Molicare, but I haven’t tried those.

tykable night time waddle is a 6000 ml hook and loop, and use a booster does even better and they swell up awesome squeeze whole diapered area when wet, and can’t tell you are wet, they are awesome, same with the new Incontrol elite hook and loop by rearz
