I need to place an order and I’m wondering if the quality issue on the tapes for Megamax’s has been fixed yet?
I just ordered some last week and the tapes seem fine to me. The plastic isn’t as soft, but they are very absorbent and work well.
They stick good the first time but they haven’t been re-applyable like they used to be. That was the problem. If you undo a tape, does it stick as well when you re-apply?
when I unstick the tapes (usually to change) I cant get the tabs to re-stick so i end up using tape to roll for disposal

They never used to be like that. The whole idea behind putting the plastic across the front of the diaper is so you can stick and re-stick as long as you don’t have powder or something on your fingers. No I haven’t asked Adam
Mine restick just fine. Not as good as the first time as the adhesive comes off a bit and stays on the landing zone, but it resticks.
The issue I have is that the tapes separate from the backing, almost every time! I’ll wake up, and a tape or two is gone from the backsheet. I’ll walk around the block, and the tape comes undone from the backsheet.

I have had the exact issue. I tried to report it to NorthShore Customer Service and they were trying to convince me that I simply am using the wrong size Diaper. I tried to explain that the prior batch (with the softer plastic) didn’t have the issue once. @NorthShoreAdam, I don’t appreciate customer service deflecting. I have a medical need for your products, as a long time customer I expect better. Paying $100 per case, I expect there to be Quality Assurance and for Customer Service to take my concerns seriously instead of indirectly calling me Fat and suggesting that I go up a size.
Considering that my last case of 40 had more than half of them with this defect, I had to change far earlier and ended up wasting close to $50 worth of diapers. The best Customer Service could offer was a XL Sample Pack, even though I told them that XL is way too big for me and that wouldn’t solve anything.
Since they moved HQ, could be a case of new employees and them needing training on how to be discreet and take a customer’s concern seriously.
I may just be venting, but I am tired of the Diaper Industry’s bullshit of making subpar products and forcing us to have to buy ABDL brands which cost an arm and a leg, in order to get a diaper that lasts and actually serves the purpose it was made for. Idealy I would love a Megamax diaper at Tena prices. Sucks that I have to spend Hundreds of dollars every month and still deal with manufacturing defects and early diaper leaks / failures.
Lastly, this is coming from someone with heavy Urge, OAB and some IBS. It is bad enough that I have to deal with these medical conditions, Diapers have worked the best with managing my conditions, having them fail me and remove the trust and protection is emotionally draining.

I had that happen on mine awhile ago - the adhesive stayed on the front panel when I peeled up the tape, leaving the tape with no adhesive. I was able to stick it back down where it was originally, though it didn’t hold well and popped soon thereafter. And of course moving a tape like that is impossible.
Very sorry to hear of these issues. We are addressing them actively. All customer service reps are still working remotely due to COVID. This is new for all of us and causing some growing pains. Please reach back out if there is anything we can do to help.
Not sure what tape issue you mean exactly. The 2019 versions were not as sticky as 2018 originals. Now in 2020, we returned to the old sticky tapes. There have been a few random reports that the adhesive is too strong and doesn’t peel away for refastening. We apologize for this, but so far have been unable to replicate this effect. It likely happens more after longer use as body heat affects the adhesive and plastic bonding.
Any update or ETA on getting pink Megamax diapers?

Would black with clear tapes work? We’re working on that. Separately, we’re also testing out a fun print for all ages.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer mixed colors in the bags at this point. Best we can do is off our “Mix & Match” discount for ordering 4 or more bags of whichever colors you select. So if you order a whole case of 1 color you save about 10%. But if you add individual bags of different colors to your cart, you will save 5% once you hit total of 4 bags or more.
Hmm, a fun print? There may be many fans of this news around here.
