Halloween - Already ?!

Halloween is 2 1/2 months away, yet I see every store is stocking up on the annual spooky stuff … I have even seen 2 of those temporary Halloween stores in my area !

I like Halloween, I personally think that Halloween is one of the most artistically creative holidays … HOWEVER it seems like the holiday is being pushed earlier and earlier by the stores . I would not be surprised if in a few years, Easter, Christmas, and Halloween decorations will be available almost year 'round !

My local Walmart already has an aisle of Xmas decorations put up.

It truly never stops getting crazy.

May as well dedicate aisles by a given Holiday, and just keep them stocked all year round?

I don’t mind Halloween decorations going up early at all. My home is filled with spooky and macabre stuff: just looking around my room, I see skulls and skeletons and monsters and horror movie posters, so what some people see as “Halloween decorations”, I see as year-round decor. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Syfy TV station showed the movie, Trick 'R Treat last weekend and I thought, has the Halloween season begun already. I guess so. Since Covid-19, every day is Halloween.

I suppose a longer marketing season can help make up for the potential of lower spending in an uncertain economy. Various holidays have been commercialized for ages, so I am not surprised to see such things happen.

Great, is it time for me to wear my costume in public yet? It’s just a dress and leggings. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Haven’t seen any festive decor in my area lately, or have I?

I, for one, don’t really mind it. It’s a nice reminder of the upcoming holiday season. And who couldn’t use a little holiday cheer after what this year has been so far?

Every year it seems the gap between the items on the shelves and the actual holiday it relates to, gets wider and wider.

There could be and most likely are obvious monetary reasons for it of course duh.

But I dont mind, (even though I should lmao) I love halloween this year I am either gonna be a fairy or cat or raccoon or…

still havent figured it out XD but most likely a fairy >:3 :man_fairy::woman_fairy::smiling_imp:

I love the decorations too, so spoopy the devilish sides of all come out to play mwahaha >:3 ::p: :bat::jack_o_lantern::man_vampire::skull::woman_fairy:

Well, Shark Week was last week, so Halloween is the next big holiday. it makes sense.

I personally do not care for Halloween, but seeing the decorations in stores gets me excited of the upcoming holiday season. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Just the other night, I was watching TV and they were showing a commercial for Lifetime holiday movie flicks. In my mind I was like, “What?! For Pete’s sake! We’re not even in Halloween yet!”
