Genuine Friendships from the Forums

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this? While I joined ADISC to make connections, I never expected to make a genuine friend.

Since joining I have talked to quite a few people here. And have some really good connections with several people, but one in particular @BigBlueBear and I have become really good friends outside of ADISC. We play VR together, play boardgames, and chat often about diapers and games (virtually of course) despite living 800 miles apart.

A completely unexpected genuine friendship for both of us. I’m just curious are there other pockets of genuine friends here on the forums?

I have made a few good friends. Looking to make more.

Yes definitely. I met my daddy here @ARBBB2 and we video every day as we live in different countries. When I joined adisc I was just exploring being a little. I ended up meeting the kindest, most loving person in the entire world. I never thought I could be so lucky or feel so loved. Just saying. I’ve made other good friends too. Adisc is awesome in this way.

Forgot to mention becoming friends with @siysiy as well. Love being little with Siysiy and he gives good advice too.

I’m good friends with @Blathers, @Autiesaurus, @MichaelC, and other ABDL buddies. Michael and I both love our baby girl Rapunzel like the Daddies we truly are to her.

Unexpected indeed! I never set out to make any real-life friends from ADISC. I’m a fairly private person, so the idea of connecting with members outside of the forums always scared me.

I must say, I’m glad I left my comfort zone.

Now, I wouldn’t advise everyone to go and meet other members outside the site. This is the Internet after all. If you’re going meet others (virtually or in real life) be smart about it! Don’t share any personal information until you are absolutely sure you can trust one another.

One of my nieces gave similar advice to me. I trust those who trust me.

Good point. It took me several weeks before I shared my bank account information and now @BigBlueBear and I talk about all the cool stuff that keeps showing up to his house. (totally joking btw)

As you mentioned I have made a lot of good contacts on this forum. N no very good friend yet but several I would call good aquaintences and who could become friends. I find friendship just takes time and interaction. It is great however how diverse a group you can become friends with here. We are all so different from each other yet bound by at least one common interest.

I met some amazing friends on adisc like @Blathers, @Chatzoe, @Lilpampy19, @IzzyFox. However, I do love everyone on this forum and I’m really grateful to have a place where I can just talk to genuine people.

Yeah, as I’ve said before after not having ever interacted with the community or even talked to anyone about it before it’s great to know there’s nice folk here

Exactly! I’m here because of the wonderful community. Any friendships I make along the way are a bonus.

I’ve never met anyone here in-person but y’all are lively, funny, intelligent…and fun. This place is like a second home. Thank ya! :hugging: :smiling_face_with_3_hearts::teddy_bear:

I’d definitely gone too long being on my own with it, though in fairness I’m quite on and off with ABDL. I’m in one of those phases now where I’m very into it haha

Hiya, @DisneyDaddy99 ! I’m enjoying talkin’ with ya, too, and you can use any pronoun ya like for me…I’m a bio boy who’s agender/asexual and loves to dress/act/feel like a girl. It’s a weird mix, for sure, but feel free to use any pronoun! :hugging:

I don’t think you can find a single book where BobbiSue isn’t cool.
