So, for the next steps on my cloth diapering trials, I first attempted to use my dependeco cloth AIO, and… I’m going to assume since I didn’t follow directions to wash it once before use it was not fluffed up appropriately to absorb liquid, because it leaked after one wetting when I sat down. Ugh…
Next step, let’s try this double diapering for night time thing I’ve heard about. And… I’ve gotta ask, is there a trick to getting double cloth diapers to fit well? I read on baby pants to only pin the outside diaper. So, since I laid both on top of each other, I tried to alternate how the wings attached: 1st front layer, 1st back wings, 2nd front layer, 2nd back wings, then try to pin as quickly/tightly as possible. It worked, but I’m curious if anyone has tips and pointers.
On the plus side, my God, are these things freaking thick when doubled up! I am hitting a new regressive phase by having to waddle and crawl like this. My plastic pants fit juuuuuust right over it, but anymore and I’d need a bigger size. My poor onesie though is certainly getting tested to its limits.
