I suspect it depends upon your definition of a sissy. I’m not a sissy; but, I’d love to find myself in the position of being one. If my wife would become dominant and insist I wear sissy clothes and be her femboy, I’d be in heaven. Don’t know if this was addressed to me or the OP. If it was to me, here’s the short version: I would dress in feminine undergarments (panties, stockings, and bra) and do whatever it is I’m told to do by my domme (ideally, my wife). The more frilly they are, the better. It would involve both sexual duties and non-sexual duties. I would be told what to do, and how to do it, to satisfy her every desire. She can have me clean the windows or take her to an orgasm. If she insisted I allow a guy to enter me at either end or both (something I’ve never done), I’d have to oblige. I WANT to please her always and be punished (not severely) for when I fail. Basically, she would own me for her pleasure.

So when I think about it, I think I’m not a real sissy. I imagen what you explained could be an interesting roleplay for me (or at least a part of it ^^). But as far as I understand for you it is a, so to speak, lifestyle.

I wouldn’t not say the term is out dated but I think for many (or at least some) people the description “sissy” gives you not the whole picture.
As I said before I am also interested in the Sissy roleplay part but this isn’t something which defins me. Moreover I’m interested in “normal” crossdressing without this whole femdom stuff. I would love to go to a party dressed as a woman ^^ (But I’m not trans). Also when I buy AB clothes I tend to buy girls clothes. So here I often mix CD and AB.
As men just wear larger versions of boys clothes I’m not surprised you buy women’s.

My ex was hugely supportive of my girl side, and helped me out by doing my hair (when it was long), and when she moved out, she left a large portion of her wardrobe behind, most of which were things that she knew I liked wearing. One time, however, she decided to pick out an outfit for me to wear; sexy lace panties, matching bra, a camisole, that sort of thing, and I hated it, I loved it when she wore it, but not when I did, so she helped create an outfit more appropriate for a little girl
There have been many posts here on Adisc attempting to define sissy. After many posts there seems to be recognition that the definition is unique to each person. The common element is femininity but it is defined by each of us in our own way. There are varying elements of cross dressing, submission and humiliation. So perhaps you are a sissy when you call yourself a sissy with at a minimum an interest in expressing some behavior that is commonly associated with women or girls.
