I have several pairs of lace top thigh high stockings. However, I can’t really wear them out and about as they will sometimes want to fall down. Yes, garters would solve the issue; but, I’m thinking suspender stockings would work better for me. I’m about to order a pair of them as shown in the attached photo. What is anyone’s thoughts that have worn similar stockings?
*You have to match the length of the stocking to the length of the straps. Panties go OVER the garter belt suspenders so you can lower them in order to sit and pee. Ads show the garter belts on top but they are selling them and want you to see them. *
I hadn’t thought about that; but, it makes perfectly good sense. The things one learns when they step outside of their ho-hum vanilla life. I hope I enjoy the suspender stockings. I have several nights next month I will be volunteering outside for 5 hours or so with likely changes in the temperatures. I’m hoping the stockings will provide a little bit of added warmth while I get to enjoy the feel of wearing them under my slacks.

I like wearing garter stockings when out and about. Here in the USA they’re getting
harder to find. One thing to remember when wearing under pants those lumpy garters
have a tendency to show on tight fitting pants.
Not an issue as I don’t wear, or own, any tight fitting pants. I believe I’d likely stay with the stockings with the suspenders and garter belt all as one piece. With my luck, seperate garters and belts would malfunction and become a problem. I’m all for easy.
To me, they send the message “I want sex!” and it makes no difference if I’m the one wearing them or it’s my partner, or both. And just so you know, I’m not talking about the, “In the dark, missionary position,” kind of sex. I’m talking the, “we’ll be at this 'til the roosters crow, probably shower twice and start over,” kind of sex.

Well, in all honesty, that’s pretty much how I feel all the time even though prostate cancer surgery has rendered me unable. However, nobody will ever see them. I’d wear them to satisfy my desire to wear stockings without having them fall down my legs. I’m sure, just like the lace top thigh highs, they’d let me enjoy whatever in my world of kink it is that lets/makes me enjoy these things.

The suspender stocking shown in my first post are due to arrive in the mail on Monday. I can hardly wait to put them on. They are an early Christmas present to the feminine me.

I tie silk ribbons around the tops of my stockings. Sometimes I sew two ribbons together and thread elastic inside. Then add button and buttonholes in the ribbon. You can leave long ends to tie for a decorative look after buttoning. Wear step-ins, or tap pants or nothing. Under long pants, I just wear undies and put the powder in my shoes.
Well, just a short update. I’ve had the stockings for about 2 weeks now and have worn them 4 times for extended lengths of time as well as much shorter times. The most recent time was 23 hours. I love wearing them as they and panties make me enjoy my inner feminine side. It is a side nobody else is ever likely to see; but, I know it is there and I like the experience. Because of how inexpensive they are, I’m going to order some fishnets as shown below. These 5 are only $15.00. It’s not the styles I’m after as I won’t see them while I’m wearing them. I’m just after the feel of having them on as they feel so good. That said, if they look as good as they do in the picture, I wouldn’t mind my wife wearing them as I snuggled up between them and her thighs.

The correct way to wear them is with the panties on top. Easier to sit and pee.

Yes, they do look sexy; however, they will never make this old coot look sexy. But, that isn’t my interest in wearing them. They feel so damn wonderful hugging my legs.

I have tried that style of stockings and I still rather use either stay up stockings or stockings with a garter belt. And because my jeans are of the relaxed fit, I never worry about anyone seeing any hints of the straps

I plan on getting a garter belt or two as I’ve found the stay up stockings (silicone at the top) don’t want to stay up over time as I walk. They slowly sneak down. If I’m laying down, they are fine. :ROFLMAO: Of course, these were $5.00 thigh highs I bought at Walmart. I suspect some better quality thigh highs would stay up better.

I quite agree. There are many times that I have felt my “silicone” stay ups start sliding down inside my pants while out on errands. Hence the reason I use a garter belt frequently.

Yes I often wear seamed stockings when out for the evening but I wear tights at work.

No I don’t wear suspenders any more. With my nappy it would be too fiddly.
