Disposal

This may be an odd question but I’m wondering how people hear usually dispose of diapers and baby wipes if they’ve used them.

I put my used diapers and wipes in plastic grocery bags, which are promptly tossed in a waste collection bin outside my house (not really my house — I just rent a basement apartment).

I’ll often include some other household trash with my diapers so that I don’t end up using an entire bag for a single diaper. This has the added benefit of further concealing the diaper if the plastic is not fully opaque (my collection bin is shared with the home owners, so I try my best to hide my discarded dips.)

I use small scented 4 gallon trash bags that are very inexpensive. They come in a roll and cost $1.00 - $4.00 per roll of 30 or so. I can put as many as 4 soakers in one of them. The odor control makes them worth buying.

I change a lot of adult diapers … they go into a 13 gallon bag, and the full bags are placed into the trash bin.

Myself and the 2 “Little Ones” generate 6 - 10 diapers per day ( about 50 - 60 diapers per week )

I use a 15 litre scented bags on a roll for each individual nappy, then that is placed into a black trash bag and then that is disposed in a wheelie bin.

I have a roommate which he does not want to see them. Put them in 4 gallon trash bags then hide them in a black trash bag in my room. I take the black trash bag out about every other day.

when I wake up my night diaper and the one I changed before going to bed go in a plastic shopping bag and into the trash bin the one I change during the day get thrown out right away

Just in a black bin bag, which I take out to the general wheelie bin every few days.

I just roll up and tape the diaper closed and put it in the kitchen trash bag/can under my sink. The night before the trash is picked up, I seal the kitchen trash bag and place it in the trash dumpster.

If the diaper is just wet, the diaper may be under the sink for several days. I try to keep my messing days (I am not incontinent) close to trash days so I don’t keep a messy diaper too long in the house.

Disclosure: I live alone and have never smelled the diaper unless I get real close to the trash can.

I use a Hefty Blackout 13 gal kitchen trash bag. The black bags make it harder to see through them, and the larger size means I can tie the bag top instead of just the drawstrings, sealing in the smells even more.

I have storage bin that i put them in until i take them out. Normally 4-6 diapers. Seals away any odors pretty well. I use a black trash bag and take them down to my apartments trash bin.
